Of all the wireless doorbells, this is one of the few that REMEMBER the chime in the event of a power glitch. I have bought many, only to find they all forget on a power glitch. Pain when there are "88 Chimes" then have to remember the one you chose. Anyway, this one has memory on CHIME but NOT VOLUME...I can live with that. I use it on my security camera motion system and chose the bird chirp, something you wont get tired of hearing after 30 or so alerts. (more animals please) Most chimes are mini-songs. Cute but may get old quickly. I would rather have shorter noises than long music to choose from. Good Range thru 2 walls. Owned for 1 month now, indoor use only so it should last many years.UPDATE failed after 3 months....BAD

I got these for my aging parents and they love them.....
