My husband is currently deployed overseas. Before we left, I saw this product featured on Shark Tank and immediately ordered it for my 3-year-old daughter. It works exactly as we had hoped! It really makes such a difference that she can leave Daddy a message as soon as she thinks of something she wants to tell him vs. waiting until our next call. And she lights up when she hears Daddy's voice. It was slightly difficult to set up, but it's simple to use day-to-day. Even my 20-month-old can leave Daddy messages. What an amazing product! It makes Daddy seem closer to home, which is everything right now.

This is a genius product, that fits the need for my family. Our daughter is 8 and really wants a phone or other devices to communicate with our family and friends. We feel she is to young to getting into that just yet. When I saw this product on Shark Tank Friday night I knew it was a safe way for her to get some of the "phone features" that she would be completely in charge of. This product is the first thing I have ever bought from Shark Tank after watching the show since it started so it really spoke to me. It is safe (with the trusted circle list) I know she can control and send safe messages without my complete supervision. It gives her that perfect sense of independence that she craved.I love the bat skin, but also they are coming out with more skins soon (unicorn and bunny to name a few.) I also love that you can just buy the replacement cover when you need it so you do not have to re-buy the brains of the toy again. I felt the app was fairly simple to navigate (we have Android phones.) We easily informed our family how to get set up and start talking. My daughter finds her Talkie easy to operate and loves to send and receive messages. Plus it giggles and snores which is adorable. It has earned one the most coveted spot on her bed next to her other favorite stuffed animals. It brings her joy to hear the message alert and to be able to communicate with family and friends that might not be near us. We have family all over the country and this is a great way to keep in touch. She can also keep in touch with her friends that have "talkies."I am sorry to have read that customer service in other reviews was lacking. I had the complete opposite experience. We bought the toy on Saturday and it arrived from Amazon on Monday. We set it up and played with it all day Monday. Then Tuesday morning a new patch and our toy had a little bug. But I loved working with customer service, Marla was amazing and took all the time I needed and fixed the toy. From start to finish it was a great experience and I could tell they cared. I really could not give Marla more praise if I wanted to. She was a rock star! The customer service team and engineering team were amazing.This product really does fill a gap needed in the market. It is clever and fun. I could not recommend this product more.

We LOVE Bitsy! We bought her so that our children and my husband can communicate when he is working away. For one, it is awesome I don't have to help or use my phone for my kids to "talk" to their dad. And it is awesome that the kids can send and listen to messages on their own. Even my 1 year old knows how to push the belly to hear messages, and he does over and over! I like that the "sending" function TELLS the kids that it is still working on sending messages (I believe this is actually an update recently because I think it only beeped before). But now they know to not push a bunch of buttons while it is sending a message. Very cute and functional, definitely recommend! We bought before they were advertising being on Shark Tank, so we missed getting the deal going on, but it is worth it either way!

Love this. It's a great way to keep in touch with my 8 year old granddaughter. She gets to hear my voice when we message and doesn't need a phone!!!

directions are not exactly clear on how to use it so it takes some time to get use to. Once you can figure it out for yourself and family to use it is a cute toy even the kids can enjoy

Very disappointed. I bought this and one other kind of Talkie for my children since I had to move across the country for work and they won't be joining me for several months. I sent these home to my husband and kids for him to set up and he is unable to connect the toys to his phone. This wouldn't be a problem if he was able to troubleshoot with support from the company for the issue but he has tried to contact them for a week with no response at all. It's not just the waste of money but the disappointment at having an option to talk to my children whenever they want dangled in front of me and then taken away!

This my favorite gift of my daughters' by far. It makes keeping in touch with family easier. Be careful not to accidentally send messages lol

I was really excited to get my daughter a toy that would let her keep in touch with her family and friends without screen time. Unfortunately, the buttons didn't quite line up well, so she would have to unzip the pouch and take out the electronic device to use it. On top of the ergonomic issues, setup was a bit of a pain and she and I would both find message notifications would often be delayed. The most use it's gotten was when my two year old got a hold of it and and a market and went to town. A bit of an expense investment for those few minutes of fun. All and all, a major disappointment.

I don't know if they made an update to rectify all the issues other reviewers had - but this was SO simple to set up - done in minutes! Easy to use- my little guy was using it within 15 minutes and we were able to talk while I was half a word away. This actually meant the world to me. Thank you for creating this!

"Had to have it" so we could send silly messages to our grand kiddies ... but more importantly to get messages from them ... AND it reminds me of something I read on Facebook ... "Did you ever look at your grandchildren and think ... Wow ... how did I get so lucky!"

I really wanted to like this product. The picture don’t do it justice. It is not aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I kept thinking, “what is thing supposed to be?” Is it a bat? A monster?

Very difficult to get to hook up to wifi. Tried for three hours with no results. Called the company and they were responsive, but toy is very touchy. Overall, cool concept, but seems to still need some product improvement.

We bought this for our 4 year old so we could leave messages with each other since we both work a lot. It took some time to get it synced to my phone but that was because I was using the wrong side of the sensor. Once I figured it out it Works Great! My daughter loves it and send each other messages constantly. To leave a message is really easy for her and the app works great as well. Awesome Idea and great toy!

We love this item, we can talk with my granddaughter every day now. and it is soo cute. the only thing is that we wish the skins were a bit cuter, they are kinda scary looking..lol but otherwise we love getting the messages and hearing her voice daily. it really makes our day. this was well worth every penny we spent on it.

Bitsy Bat just arrived and my youngest couldn't wait to get this beautiful toy out of the box!!! The toy is adorable... my 5 year old daughter hasn't stopped singing, dancing, and playing with sweet Bitsy... but who wouldn't fall in love with a toy that looks like a ray of sunshine with a sweet toothy smile (Big PLUS ~ I love all the messages I keep receiving from her too).
