it’s what it says it is. it’s adjustable so you can just buy one and basically use it as different sizes. great for making mousse. i wouldn’t advice using it for baking but you can try (just make sure it’s secure so the cake batter won’t leak). my only issue is the edges are very sharp so just be careful on that. but all in all i like this product very much. i already used it when i made my mango dragonfruit cheesecake mousse

Perfect for pastry class and endless possibilities

I bought it as I was planing to make a new cake as birthday surprise and needed a ring right away. I chose this product based on the reviews and fast delivery. While it still does the job it’s not convenient to use and the quality seems to be not the utmost. The steel is very thing and you should be careful with using it not to damage you fingers. Also,while using for small diameters the ring’s adjustable part (which stays inside of the ring) is not held tight by the clamps so the shape may be not a perfect circle.I wanted to return it but missed the return window but in anyway I will buy a non-adjustable ring as they seem to have a better quality.

The ring is perfectly deep for a mouse cake ,it can be removed easily without ruining the cake and cleaning it was easy,but be aware it is so sharp that it cut my finger.

I needed a six inch cake ring to cut two layers out of a quarter sheet pan cake for a Milk Bar cake recipe. This adjustable cake ring is great except for the fact that it doesn't actually go down to 6 inches, and therefor I can't get two whole layers out of a quarter sheet pan. I'm very annoyed that it even says on the box that the minimum inner diameter is approx 16cm, which is over 6" - the description on the site should reflect this true measurement so others don't have to face this frustration.
