Tackle for the fisherman and not the fish. Bought it in 2013 and its been in my lure bag for years. Never caught anything on it. Designed for larger fish boat fishing, not casting from store. Could probably catch something but hardpressed near the coast in UK, Scottish or Scandi waters.

This lure has a superb action and you are going to catch pike on the surface. I would just like to say that for any lure fisherman who has not taken a pike on the surface, it is a pretty explosive take. ... However this lure is not quality, the cheap hooks soon bend and the silver plating on them cracks. .. First few casts; an eye fell off. So if you want this lure then put bigger, more expensive hooks on it like Stinger or look elsewhere. Spinning Steve, Oldham.

This is sold as a lure for bass and on the times that I have used it, performance has been good. I haven't caught anything on it as yet, however, which is probably the definitive test, but it certainly looks up to the job. It casts well enough and I am satisfied that will perform well if I should be lucky enough or clever enough to make a catch.
