GimCat Multi-Vitamin Paste - This healthy cat snack activates and strengthens the immune system - 1 tube (1 x 100 g)

I have four cats and each one of them takes tablets for different reasons.One of my cats cat licks it straight of my fingers and she can't get enough.My Siamese cat has kidney problems and need several medications everyday. This product is a life saver as I am able to put broken tablets in the paste and put it directly into his mouth. It workes every time. No stress for him and no stress for me.I use three different flavour so they don't get bored.

I bought this to give my poorly cat a boost, unfortunately we didn't have much chance for it work before she passed away but she did love the taste of it and I believe it would have done some good for her if we had longer. Both of my cats absolutely loved the taste.

This is okay tasting but my cats show a clear preference for the Gimcat DUO vitamin paste in cheese flavour (50g tube), which I bought for them before. As they finished that so fast, I decided to buy this Gimcat multivitamin paste in a 200g version so I didn't have to order tubes so many times or have so many tubes lying around at home. At first I thought it was the same as the DUO cheese flavour vitamin paste, as the tubes are yellow in colour with quite similar diagrams and wordings on them, but I realise now it is not. The description of this tube's flavour said it has cheese flavouring in it, but I doubt it is very strong, because my cats go crazy for any cheese flavour cat snacks no matter how well fed and full they are, but they kind of turn their nose up at this one if they aren't hungry. So nowadays I feed this to them first thing in the morning before they've even had their breakfast, so they would be more willing to eat it. They also aren't that keen to eat it out from the tube, so I put the 6 cm serving on a spoon that they can pick from, and somehow, when given to them like that, the paste smells more "meaty" and "fragrant" from the tube so the cats are more willing to pick it up. I am not keen to try putting the paste on their paws as one of my cats will simply not engage with it if I did that, and walk away making a mess on the floor.My cats need to be persuaded to eat it. They definitely would stop eating it once they've had around their daily 6 cm serving. They'd just not want it anymore. Whereas with the DUO paste, they will keep wanting more and more.Overall, I would continue to buy this for the price. It really is a bargain for the 200g tube. It's the price of 3 50g tubes but has the same amount as 4 50g tubes. I also have no difficulties squeezing the paste out of it, unlike some other commentators have complained about. Before buying it, I was a bit hesitant as I wasn't sure if my cats would take it. But now I know they will, but only if I feed it to them in a certain way and at a certain time. I love that this is giving them vitamins and boosting their health, especially as one of my cats is 10 years old.

I don't normally leave reviews, however I got 2 very poorly kittens last year, who spent 4 months on strong steroids so their 'excrements' were not liquid.We had to feed them plain chicken to help their digestion, and within a few months one kitten developed pica and was licking slabs which is a sign of low iron at around 5 months old.I found this paste online and our vet said it was worth a try since the kittens were already so unwell it couldn't do much more harm and we were already expecting the worst. Thankfully both kittens LOVED their daily vitamin paste and the pica went away within a week or so. We also saw an improvement when weaning off the steroids within a month and they were finally able to be steroid free about 7 months old.We now have two beautiful, cheeky, heathy(ish) cats who just celebrated their first birthday. They still love their paste that we give them as a treat regularly.Would highly recommend.

Must say this vitamin paste does actually show a difference over a period of time. This is pixie in the picture, she was over grooming and had patches of fur missing due to allergies, but after taking this paste she has slowly regained her fur and it is lovely and soft. Not mad on the smell of it but once she starts she will take it with out any fuss. Overall good product at a good price.

I only got it today so my review my change in the future, however at the moment my cat just looks, sniffs and wanders off, i've tried it in food, out of the tube and just in her bowl and shes having none of it. It could be she is having a bad day, doesn't fancy trying something new today...you know how cats are, weirdos lol.Seems like a decent enough product my cat doesn;t gag or anything when she smells itUPDATED 5th Nov 2020- Still no joy with getting her to eat it, oh well it was only £3 so not the end of the world.

The review questions are a little strange - I haven't tasted the paste so can't say if the flavour is good or not, but our cat loves it, so it must be OK! He licks it off my finger as part of his breakfast, that way we know he has taken it because he can be a fussy eater. Very quick delivery once the order was placed. Very pleased.

Tried this one having tried other products in this range. Both cats actually like this one. It's a better size and better value than others I've used.
