Tend Despicable Me Minions Stuart Cam Kit with HD, WiFi IP Camera and Headphone - Yellow

After reading the reviews of this camera I was exspecting so much more. The most annoying thing about this camara is that you can't seem to get it to record for more than 13 seconds so if someone walks into frame you cant see them do anything if they stay longer than 13 seconds. I have sent an email to Tend to see if anything can be done about this. Before I bought this Stuart cam I was using an old iPhone with an app installed that done a much better job than this camara. Another down side is the price of this item it's a lot cheaper elsewhere.

A good choice for someone that needs and inexpensive security camera at home. Quality of the footage is medium but well worth the money! It saves any captured footage in the cloud for 24 hours and you can download it directly to your phone. I love it!

Pudes guardar en la nubevideos donde hay movimiento por 24horas. Detecta movimientos y essensible a sonidos. En la oscuridad tambien aunque menos calidad la imagen. Compre el cable porque no lo trae. Al menos el mio no venia y en general funciona bien.

El aparato llego defectuoso y para pagar el reenvio son 600 pesos ya di por perdido mi dinero soy de mexico y la verdad me siento estafado 😑

Prima product met een fijne app. Goede prijs kwaliteitverhouding. Ook de nachtfunctie werkt goed in het donker. Beeldkwaliteit op een klein scherm als een telefoon goed. Beeldkwaliteit op een tablet matig.

It's kind of hard to take this camera serious until you try it. The video quality is excellent. The set up is easy. The motion detection works great. He Tend app is easy to use. I get motion notifications direct to my iPhone and I can watch the video from anywhere in the world. The app allows me to store the video directly to my phone from the cloud.The free cloud storage is only 24 hours. If there is a way to buy more storage, I haven't figured out how yet.I'm really in love with this serious camera with the whimsical face.

The picture is low-res compared to an actual CCTV camera and the night vision is terrible. It works with nothing else except their app, so if you're planning on using it with Zoneminder or anything else, forget it.Also, it does absolutely nothing without contacting their servers and appears to send at least some of the images over the net, and the android app sucks up all the information it can and sends that too, so if you're at all concerned about privacy, this isn't for you.

This thing is great, especially for the price. It was super simple to setup, and the instructions were perfectly clear. Had it setup and ready to go 5 minutes into my baby’s nap. The cord is very long so it easily reaches the ceiling if you want to mount it up high. EDIT: it mounts easily and wonderfully as long as you follow the directions. Otherwise you may never figure it out, and in fact think that you have the wrong screw size. *face palm* [ORIGINAL: However, if you want to mount it, buy your own screws! The heads of the screws that came with it are much too big to fit in the holes on the back of the base.] The angle of the camera itself is easily adjustable.As far as the video itself, it is very clear and the night vision is great. You can set it up to switch automatically between night vision and regular. You also have the option to record (and keep up to 24 hours unless you purchase more storage) whenever motion is detected, and you can adjust the sensitivity. When this is turned on, you also have the option to have push notifications when motion is detected. This is perfect for my special need baby who makes no sounds when she is awake and crying - I can see her movements from my phone and I don’t have to keep checking on her in her room. You can also just check in and view the video feed on demand. You can zoom out and in with the usual tricks, pinching and spreading your fingers on the screen. It’s just a digital zoom - the camera itself doesn’t have optical zoom.The app is the cherry on top of this. It’s easy to setup your account, and feels more secure because of this feature. The app is intuitive, as well. It’s just a great camera system.

I was a little skeptical given the cartoonish appearance. What a surprise. These cameras are wonderful. They are fairly easy to set up, seem very stable, and the picture quality is very good. I bought a second one I liked it so much. I use them in my beach house. With the motion detection feature, I can essentially use these as my alarm system. Just a super product for an incredibly low price. Note, I could not use these cameras in my other house that has satellite internet (Hughesnet). They work well with DSL and I am sure cable as well.

Perfect Camera for any home. For the price, you are getting an excellent product! The setup was easy and directions were clear, The video quality is great in both day and night vision. Although, if not close enough to the router/modem, you may experience delay. The two way audio, needs improvement, but I personally did not purchase it for a walky-talky, more so to keep an eye on the kids. Although, you can have multiple cameras hooked up to one account, you cannot see all cameras at once, you have to scroll through each camera. I would prefer to see where the action is at glance instead of having to wait for the screen to load. I highly recommend this product to anyone interested in an indoor security camera.

Great camera, works quite well. I didn't expect a whole lot but was surprised. Very clear picture and good color. You can download clips of saved video clips or just watch on your phone app. Only bad thing I will say is no adjustment for day and night mode. It likes alot of lite to keep in day color day mode. The night mode is in B&W and still a great picture and you can see in total darkness. There is a switch in the app to do manual day nite.This is good for checking up on kids, babysitters, dogs while at work plus what ever you can think of. Buy one just for the fun of it!

Overall I really like Minion cameras. I have 3 of the Mininon Cams, and 1 of this Stuart Cam. The video quality is great on all of them, and the app is very convenient to use (via the actual app or the web browser). Very cool that you get free lifetime 24hr recordings. Much easier to use than any other IP webcam.However I find this Stuart Cam is a bit slower than the Minion Cams in terms of loading up. When I switch back and forth between my Minion Cams, they load pretty quick. But when I switch to the Stuart Cam, it can take an extra 5-10 seconds. Once in a while I may lose connection with the Stuart Cam, and I’ll have to either power cycle it, or remove and re-add it.Overall this is good bang for the buck. However if you find the Minion Cam on sale, I would recommend that one instead.
