VDO standard 5 hole mounting. Mounting holes diameter (alone 5 holes): 2.2" (54mm). Mounting plate diameter: 2.75" (70mm). Note: 5 mounting screws may not included, for each tank may use different screws for different thickness and thread. Review: Instructions are terrible - The instructions state that the float arm should be 1.4 X half of the tank depth. Then there is a chart that shows how long the float arm should be according to 1/2 the tank depth. These instructions contradict themselves. Use the number provided in the chart. DO NOT use the 1.4 X half of the tank depth formula. Otherwise the gauge sensing unit works perfectly. But the instructions are confusing, incorrect and very disappointing.
