It says it's German and.. it is from Germany.I bought it... because, it's a German-product and, that usually means,good quality-standard and trusted authority controlled and waranteed.Unlike some Italian seller and/producer, who sell you one thing upfront and when the product arrives it says:Made in China... or India or East Europe, which still in 2017 is given,copy/chemical produce of shady control authority or fake label.My thorough research on the seller, producer, and warantees all came through.

I purchased a number of Backhaus cooking implements. The Backhaus quality is second to none and I have not been disappointed. Good quality silicone, great warranty on most of their items and have always been very happy with their product. I trust the name implicitly and would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends

Great product although the size could be more generous. I have one from a commercial catering supplier which is around 30% larger. This one was bought as a gift and I couldn't see me rolling pastry on it as its a bit too small. Its fine for a normal size baking sheet but these things are also used for rolling out sticky items like cookies and pastry.

A really fantastic baking mat. I've cooked two GF pizzas on it already! Rolling them out, and then straight to oven, all on the mat. An impressive product, and exactly as described by the seller and also the other positive reviews.

Hmmm, I wasn't sure what was the fairest number of stars for this as I have mixed views.After purchasing the mat, I received an e-mail thanking me for the purchase and with some guidelines on how to use the mat. One of the first points was "Use your Backhaus product on a perforated baking tray or a grill pan tray". I found this rather frustrating because nothing in the product description on Amazon had mentioned this (I've just double-checked again before writing this) and, if it had, I wouldn't have ordered it as I simply don't have any perforated baking trays!I thought I'd go ahead and use it on a standard tray anyway and just see what happened. The first time I used it, I didn't add any oil, as per the product description. It was a selection of vegetables that I was roasting and they ended up very dried out and not at all pleasant to eat (they went in the bin!). The next time (same job...roasting vegetables) I added a drizzle of olive oil as I would normally. On this occasion, they cooked much better and tasted fine, however the oil had "sudded up" all around the vegetables. I can't think how else to describe it, it had just gone into froth all around the edges of the veg.It washes well and has a good quality feel, but it doesn't work for me. That said, I openly admit that I haven't followed the instructions of using it on a perforated tray and so, given all the other good reviews on here, I guess those people are using it correctly and in which case it appears to work well.NB I received this product at a discounted price in return for an honest review. I'd also be happy to try and answer any questions you may have about these if you're trying to decide whether to purchase.

Brilliant. How did we live without it? Put this on the baking pan and put the pizza, bread, chicken, whatever on top and put it in the oven. Easy cleanup. No need to soak and scrub pans.

Have now had the opportunity to try the non stick silicone mat and I am more than pleased. Absolutely fantastic no sticking at alk. Would definately recommend to anyone.

Me esperaba algo de un tejido sencillo, sabía que era fibra de vidrio pero no me esperaba que tuviera ese tacto y grosor.Lo primero que llama la atención es que tiene un tacto como gomoso, todo el tapete está cubierto por una especie de silicona especial antiadherente que es extremadamente fácil de limpiar.Es realmente útil, porque ya no tengo que gastar papel de horno cada vez que quiero hacer pizza o algún postre con hojaldre, es realmente antiadherente y no hace falta ponerle aceite para que no se pegue, esmuy muy útil.A parte el detalle de la espátula está muy bien. No es muy grande pero es de buena calidad y resistente.En general todo tiene unos muy buenos acabados y materiales.Si quieres olvidarte de usar papel de horno o que se te peguen las cosas, recomiendo totalmente este tipo de tapete de cocción, es muy útil y de buena calidad.

Ich habe mich für diese Backmatte entschieden, weil sie - im Gegensatz zu denen, die ich im Laden sah - mit Glasfasergewebe verstärkt ist. Dadurch kann man sie auch sehr gut als Ausrollmatte verwnden - sie verformt sich dabei kein bisschen. Auch dass sie sozusagen "klebt", ist dabei sehr hilfreich, weil sie so beim Ausrollen nicht mit dem Teig hin und her rutscht. Sie erfüllt auch ihre Funktion als Backmatte zur vollsten Zufriedenheit und riecht dabei kein bisschen. Ich habe zum Beispiel Pizzaschnecken gemacht - die haben sich ganz leicht gelöst. Gerade, dass sie nicht von selbst runtergeflutscht sind :-) Auch die Reinigung ging kinderleicht mit einem Schwammtuch - eigentlich gab's ja kaum was zu reinigen, weil nichts angehangen hat. Nach dem reinigen sind aber die Stellen zu sehen, wo die Teilchen drauf lagen - die sind nicht schnutzig oder dunkel sondern nur etwas matt. Dies tat jedoch der Funktion beim nächsten Backen keinen Abbruch.Der Gratis Spachtel ist ein nettes Gimmick - er ist gemessen an meinen anderen Küchenutensilien wirklich winzig. Aber man kann ihn natürlich trotzdem gut gebrauchen, es hängt nichts an und er ist sehr handlich. Und gute Silikon-Teigschaber kann man ja nie genug haben :-)Den ausgerufenen Original-Preis von knapp 30 Euro finde ich zwar übertrieben aber da dann tatsächlich nur knapp 15 Euro verlangt werden, passt das schon.

La uso, principalmente para hornear pan casero, y me ha sorprendido gratamente que aguanta (por ahora) como el primer día tras varias hornadas, teniendo en cuenta que los primeros minutos son a 250°C y las especificaciones informan que soporta hasta 220°C. No desprende olores ni deja ningún tipo de sabor raro, que otra que tengo, comprada en un hipermercado, sigue oliendo tras varios usos y dejando un sabor como a rancio. La compré tras preguntar eso en concreto y quién me contestó, dijo la verdad (a veces no se cumple esa premisa de honestidad). En cuanto al lavado, un trapito con agua jabonosa, luego enjuague y secado y como nueva. Se enrolla y no ocupa nada. La espátula, pequeña, pero siempre viene bien. Muy satisfecha con el pack.
