the finished product is very cute. however, i'm 17 and bought this because it looked like i could make some cute key rings with it, however when u got it, it turned out to be super difficult to make, despite it being for ages '6+'. the instructions are USELESS there is no way in hell a child would be able to understand them, i couldn't even begin to understand them. i ended up having to follow a youtube tutorial witch still took me over an hour to complete the whale charm pictured on the box. also be aware that the kit only comes with instructions for the treee fish pictured on the front, and the turtle on the bottom right. it does not come with instructions (or enough beads) to complete all the designs shown, witch is a little misleading. overal if you are gonna buy this for a child be aware that it is very time consuming and difficult to follow. but the finished charm is adorable

My grandkids were attempting to make the apple and turtle, and others in the pack. This was the most frustrating experience for us all and they considered it a memorable event with grandma. We all had good laughs at each bout of frustration down to the littlest one. Ages were 6+ to 13 yrs. Everybody gave up. Starting from the 6 year old. The bands were too tight and kept popping, the little beads kept running and hiding, not to be found; not to mention there is a 1 year old toddler in the house. We decided this would not be a good fit if there are little ones. Could pose a hazard. We will not be enjoying Gemmies in our home. They were very pretty and glittery but not so user friendly. The review is my own even though compensation was provided for my time.
