Perfect for a father/grandfather-5 y.o. boy (or girl??)
My kindergarten grandson couldn't wait to take apart one of the constructions and start building another. Several hours of high quality fun and nice introduction to construction techniques and reading plans. It was right at the max testing of his abiities - e.g. needed help reading the plans, but enjoyed seeing it come together and engendered great pride in the finished models. Challenging to hold the wrench and bolt driver, but easily managed one while I held the other. Parts well made and always fit nicely.

Good toy!
Fun, and easy to build. Great quality. Lots of pieces to keep your child entertained.

Box is deceiving.
Age appropriate, my grandson likes this but the whole set is deceiving. You can only assemble each toy one at a time. There’s only one set of wheels. The box shows each toy with its own wheels, which isn’t the case. You have to disassemble one before you can put the others together.

Great toy
My grandson really likes this. He just got it for his 8th birthday. First he made the crane and pulled his monster trucks around with it. Then Godzilla.Then he took it apart reluctantly to make another. He made them all. Now he is expert with the screwdriver. And he went back to the crane so he could pull his rollable toys with it.A big PLUS is the clear carrying case.I saw that people had given this toy less stars because the carrying case is flimsy? NOT TRUE! The lid stays on perfectly, lines up and holds all of the set inside.Legos doesn't give carrying cases. You have to buy them separately. We have ours in seperate baggies in tubs.So I would call this carrying case quite nice.I would recommend this to any child who is ready for detail, and can follow instructions.....these instructions are perfect.My grandson needed something to build that wasn't legos.So yes. It is worh the buy.

Not what I expected.
To look at the picture in the advertisement, it looks like the toys are big. Well, when I opened the shipping box, I about passed out. The whole set is in a box about 8" x 5" x 6". We haven't opened the box yet because it isn't Christmas, but I sure hope things look up from here.

My nephew absolutely loved this product. Great gift for stimulating stem mindset creativity. He was 4 at the time, great gift.
