Estaba muy emocionada de poder encontrar esta linterna/lámpara en Amazon después de haberla visto en un viaje. Me pareció una idea muy buena tanto para salir de acampada como para tener en casa. Lamentablemente he tenido que devolverla porque a pesar de estar cargándola todo el día a pleno sol (incluso al principio, dos días seguidos) a las dos horas más o menos se apagaba, da igual que fuera la luz blanca (teóricamente debería durar 12 horas) o una de color o incluso la cambiante. Me he quedado muy decepcionada.

Great light for camping - much brighter than I expected

Das Produkt sah sehr schön aus, das ideale Geschenk für meine Tochter. Es ging aber gleich am 2.Tag kaputt (lädt überhaupt nicht mehr). Ich bin noch nicht dazugekommen, es zurück zu schicken und bin gespannt auf den Kundenservice.

Eine super solarbetriebene Campingleuchte mit Farbwechsler. Sie ist Solar betrieben, und hält auch Regen aus. Man muss sie aufpusten. Sie passt in jede, noch so kleine Tasche. Die Farben kann man auch einzeln einstellen oder im Farbwechsel. Der Preis ist nicht ganz billig für ein chinesisches Produkt, aber das Patent ist aus den USA und kam erstmalig beim Erdbeben in Haiti zum Einsatz!

The first days of camping, they worked well. Charged all day, and worked most of the night as night lights. Each night seemed to work a little less, but still most of the night where the kids needed it most for when they would wake up at an odd hour. We used them at home as well. The kids likes playing with them and using them at night. Each day, they would charge by the window. Though as time passed, the battery life would deplete faster until they stopped working. They lasted less than 5 months. Amazon has no warranty information on them and instructed us to contact the manufacturer via website. We have done so and will update this review once we hear back from LuminAID.

This is one of the most innovative efficient camping gear products I have recently purchased. The creators were featured on some VC reality TV show and I am glad their project took off as it did. The lantern is small, compact and light. The solar panel charges easy and the LED light source efficiently keeps lit for a while for night time use. the color changing option makes this product all the better, especially for music festivals. Since the inflatable element makes it compacts and deploy-able, the inflated diffuser softens the light for night time use. Changing the colors also help with eyes adjusting in the dark. (keep it on red to have rapid night vision recovery) The strap helps keep it in the sun on my backpack during the day and you can hang it from any column/branch/hook/line at night for your site. Great product and reasonable price, thank you!

I love this light! I never need to worry about batteries!Living in a hurricane zone means that every few years I need to prep for a real possibility of needing some emergency/disaster lighting. When the weather reports come in and I check my traditional battery powered lanterns I often find that the batteries I left in them have corroded, that's even ruined a few lanterns. Not with these! I never need to remember to buy batteries and I never need to remember to remove the batteries.Charging time and usage times are pretty accurate. The color variations are nice—either fun for kids or practical for other uses (to prevent loss of night vision or to reduce blue light around bedtime)—and the white light works just as well as any other color.This light is a no brainer for anyone living in an area susceptible to hurricanes, blizzards, or other disasters!

I purchased these lanterns after seeing them on Shark Tank. They are GREAT lanterns and work flawlessly. I purchased several of them and love each of them. They have a bunch of different colored lights to choose from when you turn it on. I would say there is approximately 8-10 different colored lights that you rotate through. The lantern is flat and is solar powered. You blow it up and can hang wherever you want to hang it or you can sit it on a table. It measures approximately 5" or 6" high with the top measuring approximately 4"x4" square. It flattens down to approximately 1" thick when deflated. You blow it up just like you would blow up a raft for a pool, or inner tube, etc... You get the idea I hope.

I got 2 of them in 2016 and they worked very well for camping trips then into storage. Last month in Nov of 2019 we had a power outage in my neighborhood and I was excited to break them out again and I had trouble inflating them, for one, the little rubber valve that has to be squeezed in order for air to enter the bag was of stuck. It was very hard to just get air into the bag. After I used a small pump and could hear air entering the bag, I found out that there was also a small hole in the seam of the bag. I'm not sure how to fix a folding seam with a patch. If the manufactures have a suggestion I'm open to it.That said the solar panels still worked! :-) I'm happy with the product.Unfortunately the power came back on in 15 min. But it was a great dry run and learned that I really wasn't as prepared for emergency's as I should be

I loved what the creators went after when I first saw the original on Shark Tank. After looking on Amazon, I decidedto wait out for this colored one, as I don't see myself using it for emergencies. Great idea though!This does exactly what you would expect, and it's a great idea to back. A few minor complaints would be that while this is a great thing for a pool while guests are over, the top is heavy sided and won't recharge in water for the most part. While I love that it changes color, I would have loved if the normal white light was first and not one of the lasts. Just didnt make sense why you had to click so many times when you wanted to use it as a light by the table or camping.Would recommend, and even got a buddy to buy one after I left him borrow it when his power went out for 2 days. Good stuff.

Final update: The initial run had a problem that LuminAID discovered and will replace if you contact them. The new light so far hasn't had this problem at all. Also apparently running it in party mode all night is what made the battery run time a little shorter. Why won't you let me party all night non stop luminaid?!?! Anyway this is a fun product and in the end I'm very happy with it, and am very happy with the prompt and professional customer centric staff at LuminAid. Samantha is a rockstar. I will be following the company to see what other products they have up there sleeve and will be buying several more of these as presents throughout the year for people that have seen mine and tried to steal it...This product is lightweight and has a small solar panel, therefore expect it take a little longer to charge, especially if its on the back of a bag or someplace thats in and out of shadows like tree canopy etc. I wish they could add a little extra area to the panel. That would make it a 4+ stars. But the top has now totally separated from the unit making it 3 separate pieces. I think they had a bad run and improperly welded/glued the seams. I will contact company and see if they will replace and update review accordingly.Edited to add: I've been very happy with other LuminAID products and still think its a brilliant idea, by a solid company and this is just a single bad execution. I have been using the lantern almost exclusively in fade mode which I have been told has especially drained the battery. CS service promptly offered to send new item, and explained there was a bad batch, but Amazon is handling the exchange. I still think the plastic over the solar panel causes decreased efficiencies and they should find a way to do do without that. I have adjusted rating to 3 stars and will update once new unit has arrived and holds up!

I purchased this item almost one year ago to the day. When I took it out to use it yesterday the plastic seams in the part that you inflate had all split open. This item was stored in my linen closet indoors and only used twice. I put it out in the sun both times for a day to charge and used it that evening. Extremely disappointed in this item and would not purchase again.
