HALLS6ft Rainwater Kit for Silverline & Popular Greenhouse

Perfect for my greenhouse.

I bought a Halls Popular Greenhouse and one down pipe kit. Realised I needed a 2nd and was going to order from Halls but thought I would check if I could get it cheaper. This one is half the price and identical to the Halls one. That said it’s ridiculously overpriced for what it is and the pipe falls out of the socket so you have to tape/glue it together.

I wanted to set up a rainwater kit to divert water from my greenhouse to a small water butt. I have a Halls Popular 6 x 8 greenhouse; the gutter fixing is just right, but I would have preferred a flexible pipe attachment, rather than the rigid ones that come with it. I was able to set up the pipe and have it feed into the water butt, but it's quite awkward.

Fits well and reasonably easy to install. There does not seem to be a way to connect the two gutters to a single water butt-still working on that one.

If your greenhouse doesn't come with guttering this is a definite must have buy. We are amazed by the amount of runoff water than was collected in the barrel we fitted the guttering to, in fact we find that it took a 2nd one as well, and both are being regularly topped up with even light showers. Were it not for this simple to fit plastic guttering all that water would be lost to us.

Specifically researched this as have a Halls lean to greenhouse. This product does not fit it!!!!! After some adjustments and a good deal of thought, time and effort my husband has managed to make it fit but it’s over expensive for what is actually provided AND they dare to charge postage. Dissatisfied with every aspect.

A replacement for one purchased about 5 years ago which had succumbed to the weather over time!! So, probably not to be relied on for a lifetime!!
