Lightinginside Smart Light Bulbs Work with Alexa/Google Home/SmartLife 6PCS

the light bulbs were my best purchase! hooked all my lamps to my phone so can turn them on right before i get home (no dark apartment hunting for light) and turn off from bed. love that i can make them any color so all my lights are super warm and orange at night. connectivity is good. occassionally, one lamp won't connect. can run systems to turn on all lights at once. easy.

These smart bulbs are really easy to setup. I was able to get them up and running with the included SmartLife app in minutes. They paired nicely with some other Lightinginside smart bulbs that I already had running from a previous purchase. You can easily link the SmartLife app to Google Home for additional control there, though it isn't required. When scheduling automation for a whole room or multiple rooms in Google Home I found that applying Scenes created in SmartLife is a better solution than having Google Home manage the bulb adjustments directly. When Scenes get created in SmartLife they're automatically available in Google Home automation settings for Devices when both apps are connected. I think this triggers SmartLife to make the adjustment rather than Google Home. I'd often end up with one bulb that didn't get the changes from Google Home and sometimes need to trigger those automations more than once to get all changes applied to all devices. When adjusting settings for just one bulb either SmartLife or Google Home are able to do the job well. Google Home will sometimes forget that a bulb is off when I visit the app again after turning it off from within Google Home, not sure why that is, but everything still works. SmartLife has a little bit better dedicated control for finer detail since it is the provided device management app. Some of that is missed when adjusting the bulbs from Google Home. Other advanced settings like default state when switched on at the outlet are configured in SmartLife. I tried some of the Lightinginside 100W equivalent bulbs and found that the lowest setting was even too bright and ended up returning them. These 60W equivalent bulbs are much better for normal home use.

The easiest set up for me. Got these in the mail and connected them to the tuna/smartlife app in less than 10 seconds. Once that happened I was able to connect them to amazon Alexa so easy. I have only had them for a few days but I love it. I can easily log into the app and turn the lights on to see if my cats on the camera and if they are okay when I am away. Great purchase and will definitely purchase again so I have backups. The only issue I have with the ones in my bathroom, is I can't use it as a smart light (Alexa turn off bathroom light) because there is a recess light in the shower and even if I turn off these smart lights above the sink the shower light would stay on. I do love that I can control the color though. Another downfall (but for me personally, is I can't connect these to apple homekit which I knew as the HomeKit symbol was not on the packaging.

I decided to give these smart bulbs a try before spending four times as much on Hue light bulbs. Am I glad I did! There's no need for a hub with these bulbs. Just set them up on the app and you are ready to use them with Alexa. Right away I noticed they are bright. Definitely the advertised 1,000 lumens. They are much brighter than my old 1,000 lumen smart bulbs, which I guess dimmed as they aged. Overall, I recommend the Lightinginside Smart Light Bulbs. They are a great product at a great price.

These bulbs are awesome! I’ve been slowly replacing all my regularly used lightbulbs in my home with these bulbs to help save on my utility bills. I only buy them if they’re $4.50/piece or less - which is what the price typically is if buying them in a six pack. They’re very easy to use, and the color variations are amazing! I love how bright they go and how dim I can make them. At night, I turn my bedroom light to a dim purple to help me sleep but there are also scenes that can be set, which is pretty cool too! They don’t generate much heat and there’s no real delay when turning the lights on or changing the colors. The only issue I’ve had is the connectivity sometimes takes some time. The bulb on my front porch took me two days to get it added to the wi-fi/app.

They were easy to set up, but 1 stopped working after 24 hours. Instead of returning them all, I contacted the company. They sent me a replacement. They were great except for that one.

I bought this to set up a "sunrise simulator" that I can take with me on the go. I chose this bulb because: - it can work over BT (most things are wifi, which means I can't take it with me because every place has a different wifi so I have to reset it every time) - it claims to have many brightness levels - it claims to work with SmartLife (which can do the automations like I want) So I bought it, set it up (easy), and tried to make a "Sunrise" automation in SmartLife that: - turns the bulb on to min setting, colored red - delay 1min - make bulb slightly brighter and whiter - repeat until full white + 100% brightness ...Except I had tons of problems: - you can't change the color or brightness from an automation. All you can do is turn it on/off, change mode (white, color, scene, music), and set the brightness level (only works on mode=white), and the color temp (also only works on mode=white) —— I could work around this by making color mode 1% red, a scene that's 2% orange, then using white mode with the warmest dimmest setting possible and going from there - They messed up integrating with SmartLife automation, if you do "set brightness to 1%", delay 1min, "set brightness to 2%, etc...it just ignores all the delays and runs all the commands at once which basically means it just ignores everything but the last command. Like how do you even mess that up??? - warmest color in "white" mode is 2700k which is pretty white, not sure why it wouldn't like go to 2000k or lower? Like why limit it like that for a full color bulb?? - dimmest setting is still SUPER bright - BT constantly cuts out Anyway, I was worried that any bulb that's bluetooth would be a cheap/crappy, and this bulb unfortunately proves that right.

These are super cool. Very easy to install. The software with them is a little fussy but I got them to do exactly what I wanted. I'm trying to figure out how to preset a few holiday themes to make it extra easy as time goes on. Connected great into my Google home system.

I've had these for about a year and a half now. They worked great for almost a year. At just about the year point I started having MAJOR connectivity issues with them. Like, multiple times a day they would disconnect and start flashing and I would have to reconnect them again. The connection would often fail so I would have to remove them from the app, and try to repair again. All as the lights are flashing because they're trying to connect. When this started happening I lost the ability to control the lights via my phone so I couldn't change the tones and values, and I couldn't change the colour's. Today they seemed to finally die. I should have gotten new lights a long time ago but I'm a student and it's honestly one of the least important things on a long and ever growing list of things that are constantly "on fire" so to speak. But I got these lights for convenience and they ended up being so horribly inconvenient as to be almost comical.
