Halvarssons neck collar - Black

I'm still not sure if its best to put the long flap at the back to prevent water running down the helmet going down my back or at the front to stop cold air and rain attacking my neck. I am wearing this instead of a material snood, as long as you set it up so the helmet strap is under the product it gives a good seal. In fact so good I got some visor mist so I had to open the vent on the helmet which gave me a cold nose. Nothings is perfect and motorbikes are basically uncomfortable !! I recomend this product

I for one like having something around my neck when riding even in mid summer . I found this from a friend and have never looked back this 2 that I just got and for wash /wear don't think they will stay over your mouth and they move down as soon as you put your lid on lol but in the winter I just push it back up after the lid is on . never feel anything through it no mater how cold . I don't go out in -10 though Im not that daft

This is an essential piece of gear that I wear year round. It’s great in the cold wet weather so no more water running down the back of my neck or taking off the jacket to realise that the front of my t-shirt is drenched. I was looking for a long long time for one of these to wear and with a small modification that allows me to fasten it to the front of my jacket to stop flapping in the wind I have found it. It lies on the outside of the jacket collar so rains flows over as oppose to under the jacket. There is a small bit of lining on the inside making the feel nice to the skin and not itchy. The material is extra strong and I can see that I will get good wear out of it before I need to replace it. There is nothing else on the market up to this design and standard and I would highly recommend.

Bought as a gift for a "fair weather rider" who just wanted something to cut down the wind on her neck. She says it does that and hasn't found fault with it. To my knowledge it's never been used whilst it's raining so can't say how it performs there.So if you want a simple windbreak for your neck then this does the job and at a good price.

Like the headline says I wanted something to keep water running down the back of my neck..AS just a neck coller this collar is ok ,,it will keep me warm ,,but waterproof NO..it will allow water to flow down the back of my lid and down the back of my neck down my back...Suppose Ill have to invest in a new jacket with a high collar...

I wish I had bought this a long time ago .. I ride a naked bike so my neck is always freezing . This little beauty does exactly what it says . It’s very windproof even above 70mph and keeps u nice and warm

The only issue is that it does not lay flat when worn outside of the collar and the rear section is not water proof. Still worth buying.

The collar is tight as you put it over your head but is a good fit around the neck/chin and nicely shaped although it could be 20mm deeper at the back. The only minor grumble is that the stretch panel at the back does not seem to be water resistant and this is where the majority of rain comes of the back of my lid and tries to make its way down my neck. Another nice benefit with these collars is that they help to reduce wind noise by sealing around the bottom of your helmet. I recommend it but Halvarssons could upgrade it by making it longer at the back and doing something about the stretch panel.
