Kimono Robe And Chemise Silky Peacock Satin Nightgown Bathrobe Wedding Negligee Nightdress

I bought this on the basis of all the glowing 5 star reviews and I have to say I'm hugely disappointed! The fabric is cheap and nasty, feels almost squeaky, if you know what I mean. The print is actually very pretty but the way mine has been cut, the front is virtually devoid of pattern and is plain white with a few silver flowers. I'm a size 14 and bought this in a medium - it's huge! And the (lack of) shape is very unflattering. There are no internal ties so nothing to stop it falling open as you wear it - the belt does nothing to hold this together given the slithery nature of the fabric. Another issue for me is that there are no pockets, which I consider to be essential in a dressing gown. Unfortunately my other half threw away the packaging before I'd tried it on, otherwise I would be returning this. I'm vaguely considering getting the sewing machine out to modify the shape, take away some of the excess fabric, and add my own internal ties and pockets. But somehow, I'm not sure it's worth the effort... my loss is likely to be charities gain....

It is very lovely. I found it true to Size. I bought 18-20 navy blue and I am 18up and 20 below in typical Asda/Sainsbury sizes. The colour is very nice. So nice that I find myself sitting in it all day long. Fabric is silky stuff and the belt stays on with no problems when tied in a bow. Another poster said it wouldn't stay tied so I almost didn't buy, which is why I'm writing my own experience. But of course, if you just wrap the ends together, it won't stay (it's not terry cloth, so no friction to hold it). Just tie a bow like a shoelace. I will be buying a second one!!! Very good quality for the price.

I am so pleased with this kimono, size 18-20 fits me perfectly, it goes just below my knee. It’s so pretty I am over the moon with it. I actually bought the red one too and that is also just as gorgeous. The quality is perfect, lovely silky and soft. This delivery has made me feel very happy today, they are cheerful to look at in these very different times at the moment. So thank you, I love them both.

It’s really pretty and fits well, my only complaint is when I opened it there was a horrible smell of fish! Yuk! I asked the seller if this was “normal “ he assured me it wasn’t and offered for me to return it for an exchange with them paying the postage. But I had already washed it and thankfully all I could smell was my softener so it was ok. So besides the fishy business it’s very nice vibrant colours nice and thin and cool for my up and coming Majorcan Holiday

This is an amazing kimono.For the price it's a lovely polyester mix fabric and the colours and pattern are true to representation.I'll be wearing mine with jeans or trousers and a cami top because I like a boho look.Honestly, try clashing this with red. It looks fantastic. Tassel earrings complete the look.

This kimono was absolutely gorgeous! For my daughter I got a small size but kimonos are supposed to be larger was great ! Not sure if their supposed to be warm ? The price is so cheap for what it is excellent

I bought the biggest size and it didn’t fitt my daughter (size 22) the belt will not stay tied and the material is too slippy to stay wrapped around you. This Malay seem good value and if you just want to throw on something g over a nightie it’s good but don’t expect any coverage.

somewhat disappointed with the dressing gown to be honest. The sleeves are dreadful they catch on everything every door handle and so on.
