The screen is mirrorlike and you can't even see what is on it. Would not re-buy.

**Edited Review **I bought this for the features. It does come with a rear camera, although the wire is not quite long enough. Another meter (3ft) would be perfect. I like that you can view the rear or front camera in full screen, split screen or picture-in-picture.The windshield mount broke, but I was able to glue it until I can get another one from the seller.Recording is a little strange with the recorder generating short clips of 1, 3 or 5-minute lengths. Maybe they all do that? With the setting on 5-minutes, the audio gets out of synch.I will recommend this to others, but be advised that if your car is longer than a 1-series BMW, you'll need a longer wire.** EDIT: after only 2 weeks, the rear camera became very blurry. Because I waited a few weeks to install it, I am outside of the return window. When I contacted the seller through Amazon, I received NO response. I changed my rating from 4 stars to 2 stars because of the defect and lack of response.

well made and not cheap plastic like my old one
Very clear picture, this includes video at night driving as well. Has a decent feel to it, well made and not cheap plastic like my old one. Not top of the line quality but for the price it's definitely for me, a very good buy

Looks to be a promising camera IF.....
The media could not be loaded. Ever since I bought this it makes a beeping sound non stop (i think it's an actual feature on the camera) It is very annoying. Also, today I went to playback a recording from earlier today and noticed not only did it not record anything, it was also telling me that I dont have an SD card installed. I have a brand new samsung 32 g card. The camera also froze up on me today and the only way I could get it to work was using a paper clip to reset it from the front of the camera. One thing you will want to order along with this is an iPhone screen cover as the screen is very, very reflective and you are unable to even see what is showing on the camera. I've attached a picture of the screen as it is now with the cover (works great this way, just trim to fit before installing) and also a video of the beeping.

The media could not be loaded. I changed my mind. This is trash don’t buy this cámara. I spend my money on this plus I pay 100 for installation. The cámara froze on me and than it just turn white and that was it for the cámara. Spend a little be more money and always check on YouTube before you buy anything

It doesn’t say anywhere that this item was going to be used. The package was a mess... this is a gift for my mother. It looks ridiculous. If it was used state it in your discriotion and repack it nicely. Very disappointed.
