I had to replace my mailbox and post and I didn't want to just backfill with soil or have to deal with concrete. Since I was working alone, I wanted something that would set up quickly but be easy to use. After removing the old post, opening and clearing the hole, I set and braced the new post in the hole (make sure the post is plumb and set according to USPS specifications). I then added the two Postloc components together and shook vigorously, per the instructions. After mixing thoroughly, I poured the liquid evenly around the post in the bottom of the hole. The resulting polyeurethane foam slowly rose and completely filled the hole. Within 15 minutes, the foam was rigid and hard. The post was now completely locked in place and imoveable. Perfect! The grass does not die and our animals have had no adverse reactions. This product solidifies very quickly and does not seep into the ground.
