This bag is gorgeous and we'll built. The brass hardware is attractive and sturdy, and everything is double stitched. I have not tested the water resistance directly but it has always stayed dry in the interior when I've had it in the rain. It fits a 15 inch laptop perfectly, I have an Acer predator that slides in without resistance. The extra pockets are nice and roomy.As an additional note, the zippers broke on my bag fairly quickly. I contacted the company and they sent a new one, apologized and said they have gotten a new supplier for the zippers. Their customer service was grade A+ and very friendly. I would buy this bag and from this company again.

I wanted to give this a good review, but I can't. It's a nice looking bag and for the most part, sturdy enough. But the zipper on the outside is horrible. I received the first bag and there was a problem with the outside zipper. I reached out and they replaced it immediately. Unfortunately, after the 2nd or 3rd time using the zipper, it broke again. Not sure why they don't fix this issue. I'm using the bag for now and just don't use the outside pocket for much but will be replacing it with a better quality bag soon. I wouldn't recommend buying this.

I am a messenger bag power user and I can say without hesitation that this is a fantastic bag. I love things which are intentional about their usefulness and this bag clearly had some user design bucks sunk into it. I will be using this bag as a work and travel bag for many years. It has met every need I have of a personal bag.I can get my Chromebook, a couple of notebooks/sketchbooks, a couple of stuffed file folders and all the odds and ends I need to work absolutely anywhere. There are two very useful zippered pockets, one on the back, about the size of a National Geographic, and one inside, about the size of an oversized paperback. This is plenty of space for securing valuables like passports or other ID. The waterproof canvas protects the contents from any unanticipated downpours.The main body of the bag is divided into two sections. The back section has a velcro strap to secure the contents in that pocket. This is great for any kind of computer or paperwork. I carry around a lot of file folders so the strap is extra cool to keep those secured.Best of all, and this is incredibly important to me, is the fact the bag has a durable zipper to close it before you lower the front flap. The stitching is solid and heavy duty. The material feels like it could resist damage for a lifetime. It is very stiff upon arrival but is loosening up with use. The bag has a solid and safe feel. The latches are solid and sound. If you put some duct tape around the strap latches, nobody is going to rip this bag away from you.I'm not a huge fan of the beaten look just for the sake of fashion. I don't really care about that, but it's going to get a beaten and used look over the years anyway, so what the heck. Also, I'm not sure about the need for two different front latches, It seems like the buckle would be the perfect low tech solution by themselves but they're really there for fashion.It's also a little heavier (empty) than I normally like, but considering the increase in safety and durability, the extra weight is worth it. Most of the other bags I've loved have been lighter canvas and there really is no comparison between the two given the level of compartmentalization and padding of this bag over your lighter canvas or synthetic fiber bag, so I'll live with the extra weight.Considering how little I paid for this bag and how critical a customer I am when it comes to daypacks and messenger bags, I'm beyond happy with this one.

This is a surprisingly handsome bag. Many people mistake it for leather even though it's made of waxed canvas. At first inspection it seems very sturdy and well-made. It is a very likable bag. However, I'm not sure if others are having a quality issue but one of the springs that secure the front buckle doesn't work so I have to manually snap it to secure the buckle. It was like this when it arrived. The zipper on the back compartment also broke within one week of me having it. I wasn't rough on it at all. I think it was slightly off track when I got it as it never zipped smoothly. I don't care enough nor am I patient enough to send it back but I would be happy to amend this review if the sellers would do something to warrant it :-)

Nice looking bag. Very stylish and looks more expensive than it is. Of course you pay cheap, you get cheap materials. The zippers don't close. In fact, they do absolutely nothing. Just slides across but the pocket stays open as the tracks never close up. *sigh*. I could return it but I don't really need the zippers closed but the fact they don't zip shows shoddy craftsmanship.Edit: Customer service was quick to respond and ship out a new bag. So that's a plus. I'll give that one a try and update this reviewEdit: 6/15/18: I received a free replacement around the 1st week of May. Everything looked the same as the old bag. The email I received from support claimed they are using a new company that makes the zippers so they shouldn't fail. Well it hasn't so far to be honest. I still have a issue of the zipper getting stuck when trying to zip/unzip the pocket but a few tugs will loosen it up. What doesn't happen is the split that I have shown in the picture. Now, this could also be the fact that I'm subconsciously more careful when using the zippers as I don't want to break. Only time will tell,

This is a functional, well-designed shoulder bag. It's pockets and zippers work well for lugging around a laptop, power supply, keyboard, and ancillary goodies. The top and outside zippers are large and heavy-duty looking. Unfortunately for me, the outer zipper separated/failed. I did get a return code, but I didn't get the shipping label printed before the 30-day Amazon return window closed. Don't make the mistake I made or you'll have a nice bag that looks like you bought at a garage sale.
