WORTH THE PRICE, STORAGE GALORE, NAUGHTY KITTY PROOF & Y'ALL SCREAM WITH THE BRIGHT PINK POKADOTS
This lap desk was expensive,so when I took this out of the box & the 1st thing I noticed was the weight, it was heavier than I thought. I thought that this would not work for my 20-30 cards a week, but it's the only lap dewy with storage, which I really need, so I thought I would give it try. I AM SO PUMPED THAT I DID!! It's perfect & the weight is needed but not felt at all. The storage is like a closet made for a shoe hog. It holds all of my 1000 or stickers, markers galore & my 200 cards plus envelopes. My naught FURRY sisters & brother can't roll my markers across the room, my cards don't slip all because around cause of the thrift raised ledge. I don't lose my cell thanks to the clever slot & it helps with my tablets & my painfully heavy papasan's laptop.

Perfect Size
This cushion lap desk is the perfect size. It looks just like the picture. I am able to place my 2017 Surface Pro on it with out it tipping over as it has a kickstand that sticks out a bit far taking up more space than wanted. The pillow contains little foam balls, the same as a bean bag, which conforms nicely on my lap. I also love the height of the desk allowing my screen to be at a comfortable level. The compartments in the desk are quite roomy; it's great for storing my chargers, usb, and other things in there. The desk lid slides side to side; doesn't slide completely open, but I guess that's good in way to prevent everything from falling out. I don't go in there often so it's ok. Overall, I love it.Update: Through my online college life, I have used the desktop's life to the fullest. The foam fillings have flattened out. I still use it but with a pillow underneath. However, it mostly just sits next to my bed now. Perhaps if the maker of the desktop used some type of memory foam or something like that it would be great.

Room for improvement but great concept
This is a great concept; however, they use MDF for the case and sliding top. I needed this to do a project away from my home, and it was too heavy. This would be a better product if they would make it with lightweight, yet durable plastic, and if they could make the cubbies deeper. To give you an idea, I can't a bottle of fountain pen ink in it without laying it on its side. The photos do not show the depth of the big cubbie. You can maybe stack a couple of small notebooks and still slide it close. But they have to be like 6x9 and you can't put a letter size notebook in the large cubbie. There is plenty of room to make the cubby deeper, but for some reason they don't. It is very handy when you need the raised desk and all, but there are ways this could be lighter and carry more.

Great idea, if you don't plan on carrying it...
Bought this specifically for a trip. Loved it when it arrived, smaller interior space than expected, but still, so convenient!Cut to arrival at the airport...couple of coloring books, pencils, and a couple of lightning cables inside, nowhere near full...and snap! The convenient carrying strap pops right off. At first glance, it appears that the strap was held to the lapdesk with maybe some glue and one (1) staple. This thing is clearly not meant for carrying anywhere other than the bedroom to the living room, and even then, only if empty.I am in Canada now, for the next 3 weeks, so I doubt I can or will return. But this thing, while a great concept, is put together like a bad arcade prize.

I can't find anything like it!
This is basically everything I've been looking for in a lap table! Deep storage with separate compartments, and holds even the biggest tablet! (Just not with a thick case, definitely won't fit thick books.) It may hold a thin book/magazine with a thick cover or support if someone wanted to use it for that purpose. The only thing I would add is perhaps a flexible LED light in one of the corners, for night reading, writing, and those of us without backlit keyboards. It may be a bit difficult to clip one on due to how thick it is.While it doesn't bother me, the weight of it may be a lot for some. It is SOLID. For example, with a laptop on top and a few things stored inside, having it on my legs in certain positions like criss-cross can make my legs fall asleep. May not be suitable for super young kids, frail older people and those with disabilities involving weak muscles or no feeling. Don't load it up with heavy batteries, and other accessories if this is a problem.

Great functionality
I use this lap desk for my journaling. It is absolutely amazing! I’m able to put my pens, journal, and other supplies in it and transport all of it with just the lap desk. It’s a tad heavy, but that’s expected and wanted for something that will be holding so much. It has a slot for a device stand which is convenient, but it won’t hold something with a thick case. I use it for pens. It’s fantastic.

Good desk
Good sturdy desk. The underneath is a thick bean bag that contours and sits nicely on your legs. It’s not bulky and the desk has a plastic top that’s strong with a tall enough lip to hold most books in place from slipping. The drawer slides sideways, left or right and holds an iPad nicely or full size notebook with room to stack 2-3 more on top of one another. It has two smaller compartments for storage. The one con was holding pens, pencils etc in the smaller compartment when moving the desk, the slid all over the place so it would’ve been nice to have some type of pen/pencil holder to keep them or anything in the smaller compartments from shifting around so easily.
