Fulfills a purpose, but highly lacks reliability on so many fronts
I bought two sets of this product. This is easily one of my more vexed purchases and I settled on giving it a below-the-middleground rating for several reasons. I'll start off by saying what actually works. I was able to put this up on my ceiling with minimal issues, wrapping around the room. A lot of the features this comes with are really cool, and make for nice change in ambiance.However, I feel like this could be achieved with a better product. When I unboxed this and started applying them to my wall, it quickly became apparent that the adhesive was incredibly inferior. As I started placing it up inch by inch, carefully smoothing it, as I got further from the start of the strip, the beginning of it started peeling off the wall. I solved this with periodic placement of scotch tape. The current strength falloff is also very obvious. The strip gets progressively dimmer the further it gets from the source, even with just a single strip. Lastly and most importantly, the blue LED on not one, not two but THREE of the dots burned out almost immediately after I got everything setup; one right after the other. I'm nothing short of disappointed. I'm not gonna try to replace them anytime soon with a different product, but I intend to at some later point.

Nice product!
Pricey for such a small thing.... BUT it does the job flawlessly!I made the mistake of getting cheap 10mm RGBW LED ribbons rather than the better quality 12mm version, so my colors are slightly off (yellow looks pale green) but I can hardly blame the controller. Hopefully in the future Alexa will be able to handle strobe commands or color changing series, but until then one can do such things thru the Magic Home app which works with this controller.Smaller than expected.Comes with double sided sticky pad to mount it.

Test multiple led before putting somewhere permanently
It worked pretty well the first time. I created account as per instructions/manual. Now, I took out the controller from living room and switch to bedroom led,it wont work. Went back to test again in living room led, it wont work at all. I don't what happened. I have asked for replacement from aegool.
