I use these form leather work. They set well with both of the setting tools that I already have. I'm currently using them for a Kaer Morhen armor set and I think they look fantastic

Eyelets themselves are awesome. Ziplock had two holes in it when it arrived and the eyelets spilled all over the floor when I dropped out of the mailer. Would recommend a thicker mil. bag to ship these as the end of the eyelet wears holes in the bag. Otherwise, completely satisfied with purchase thus far!

They work great. I didn't use them for there intended use (used on a pair of shoes). I will definitely buy again.

They set neatly and easily, provided you have a gromet press. They look really nice, too.

Be careful with these. I have a 1/4 inch eyelet setter that I bought from a leather craft shop, combined with these " 1/4" eyelets from a gun holster supplier, the two are incompatible. Every eyelet I set is ruined. So now I either buy a new, more expensive setter from the same Amazon retailer or just buy the eyelets from a leather craft shop. Either way, I feel as if I wasted my money.

My first try with these eyelets was a disaster. Every single one broke. The problem was I tried to use the hand held anvil and grommet setter. The YouTubers all agree you need an eyelet press.I invested in an eyelett press on Amazon for around $58 and was worth every penny. Every single eyelet comes out perfectly. I've included a picture of the press.
