Acebeam K65 Flashlights High Lumens Using Cree XHP70.2 LED 6200 Lumens 1014 Meters Beam Throw Flashlight LED Super Bright

Do yourself a favor and make an investment on this light!!! You wont regret it... unless your wife finds out! ;) Id like to start off this review by saying i am a perfectionist. When it comes to flashlights i am very picky especially when paying over $150, i expect high performance as well as expert machining and build quality. I choose the Acebeam K65 do to my extended history with them. Ive traded 2 units off to friends but i still have my favorites. The X80, X45 ,EC60, and now the K65. I was tempted to buy the K60 but came across this unit. This thing is a powerhouse when it comes to putting light down range and in a broad area all at the same time! The color temp on the box says 6500K and i believe it is around 6300k on turbo but in lower modes such as ultra low (250 lumens) up to medium (1700 lumens) its around 5900K - 6000K. That doesnt bother me at all do to the fact its nice to have good close up color redition at lower levels without blinding yourself. Very tight hotspot with good spread as well. Upon receiving this light i was a little surprised by the weight only having my X45 to compare. I have fairly large hands but the light is well balanced for those who have smaller hands. Did not come with batteries so i just robbed them from the X80 and they work perfect. Between the X80, X45, and K65 the bodies/ battery carriers can be swapped together. I love the U.I and the light intervals/ brightness levels. The machining is near perfect apart from the bezel has somewhat of a strange anodizing so that slightly dirty and wet fingers leave a barely noticeable smudge. That is literally the only negative i can think of about this light unless your are a absolute true flashaholic and shines your light at a white wall then you will notice a slight greenish tint around the perimeter of the hotspot. *not unnoticeable outdoors or on turbo. If i could dream up of a perfect beam and flashlight the K65 is the closest thing to it! Honestly i cant see out 2000 meters so why have a light the size of youy torso to carry around and weighs close to 6Lbs...? There are not that many videos on youtube about this light but if you love a dedicated thrower but want the spread of a defused light, well dont hesitate to make and investment on the K65! This thing is worth every penny! Although i am a big fan of Acebeam i do not discriminate against other brands. I have Zebralight, Klarus, Thrunite, and Rofis and these are my go to lights. Solid feel and bright, but not much brighter than an Acebeam K60. I bought it for the updated side switch and thrower smooth reflector. However the box that was packed in, was not sealed as a new unit would, and it looked like the stuff was randomely tossed in. Packing is not as you wood expect for the price, and for a top end flashlight or anything that costs $200 for that matter (last year when I received the K60 Acebeam the box looked as it should for a brand new unit).

Not a professional flashlight guy, but I would say this light is awesome. Good combination of thrower, but also pretty good flood from the spill. Very high quality build - all aspects.
