Clunky!
There are rather thick items, especially for their length, and not as elegant as they appear in the pictures. They will be adequate for a leafy salad in a fairly large, wide bowl but don't work at all well in a smaller one (say less than 10 inches or so) because the thickness of the wood makes it hard to toss the salad adequately. If the salad has chunky items in it, or the bowl is deep, they really don't perform well either.Expensive for what they are and a failure in the quest for the ideal salad servers, I'm afraid!
