A much cheaper option for clay lube.
Yeah this is a much better option for clay lube. The pre mixed bottles of lube are over priced and they will run out when your not done with the job yet. Buying these tablets is the best alternative because you get a 100 tablets and that's a lot of bottles worth for less money. You could use the extra money you save to buy some new clay instead. The lube worked real well and I had no paint scuffing or scratching on my black paint. So that's a win right threre. I found that two tablets in a 16oz bottle of water was good. Using just one tablet wasn't slick enough in my opinion. But heck use as many tablets as you want with this big box of tabs. Two worked good though. There was a few down sides but nothing major and that is the dark blue coloring they used in these because it will stain your hands if your not wearing gloves and it was a little bit of work to wipe it off your paint if you let it dry on it. So wipe off as soon as you can while moving along.

Good stuff, will last forever
I'm just a detailing enthusiast, not a pro. These tablets make perfectly usable clay lube and is so much cheaper than buying ready to use spray or detailing spray. Lots of detailing spray is $12-15 a quart! This box will last me many years.

Nothing better for this purpose.
I’ve been claying me vehicle (from Corvette to Rubicon to MB 2 seater, to Suburban) for over two decades. I’ve tried four different brands of clay (Griots and Zaino being my favorites) as well as the synthetic substitutes, and even more lubricants, from soapy water to dedicated clay lubricants to both cheap and expensive quick detailers (again Zaino and Griots being my favorites). I tend to use the quick detailer associated with sealant used with a particular color of vehicle—that way if there should be any lubricant residue, I know that it will be compatible with the final sealant.I’ve been happy with my system, but wanted to check out this much less expensive alternative. I’m glad I did. Like others, I dissolved the tablet in distilled water contained in a surplus Griots sprayer bottle. Sprayed a section of the Jeep’s hood, gave a single pump to the clay bar and went to work. As good of lubrication as I’ve achieved in any other way. Over the coarse of the entire vehicle, the lubricant did not excessively soften the clay—though this has happened with some other lubricants. I even tried it with a very expensive clay substitute pad—it worked just as if I was using actual clay. They say you can just wipe the surface dry, but I didn’t want to risk the possibility of it compromising the bonding of the eventual ceramic sealant. So I raised the Jeep with filtered water before subsequent steps. Final results are as good as any I’ve achieved. Obviously the other steps and products deserve most of the credit, but I can say this lubricant made claying efficient and effective, and has done nothing to diminish the performance of the products that followed. I won’t hesitate to use this as my lubricant in the future, and will save my quick detailers for their primary purpose. It’s fully worthy of the five stars I have given it.

Slick job
If you want to put a ceramic coating on your car or to decontaminate the paint, clay barring your car is essential. For that operation, you need a clay bar and a lubricant. The lubricant can be a simple soap and water solution, but you do that only when you don’t plan to polish or wax your car. Furthermore, if you just use soap-based lubricant, you will need to rinse the car at the end of the process. With a water-base clay lubricant, once you finish an area, you only need to wipe it with a microfiber towel to remove any remaining lubricant or dirt.Dokiko comes in tablets, and to get the lubricant, dissolve a tablet in 16 ounces of water. On the box, it says to use tap water, but I preferred to use distilled water. Once the tablet is dissolved (it takes about 15 minutes), you have a lubricant ready to use.The lubricant worked very well, as the clay bar slid smoothly on the paint. Depending on the temperature in the garage, you need to work on smaller areas, so they are still wet when you wipe them. But if there are some streaks left, you can easily remove them by spraying them with just water and then wiping them dry. The final result was just like the video on YouTube. One tablet will get you enough lubricant for even a large SUV, which means that one hundred tablets at this price level is an excellent value.Since you only need to clay bar your car 1-2 times a year, I am considering putting it in my will.

Very slick and cost effective
This is a great clay bar lubricant. It's super simple to use.You just put 1 tablet per 16oz of water.I just make 1 gallon at a time so for a gallon, you just throw in 8 tablets. It mixes completely and doesn't leave any unresolved particles behind. This works great and is very slick and prevents the clay bar from sticking to the paint. It's also very cost-effective so I would definitely get this again when I run out.
