I've already got several smart tags for Samsung phones and use the SmartThings app with them. I saw this tag was on offer, so I decided to upgrade one of themThe tag arrived in a small branded box along with an instruction booklet and pin. Once I opened up the app on my phone, I clicked on add device, it instantly found the tag, updating it there and then, I was then able to assign the tag a name and add it to my favourites with the other tagsI'm going to be using this tag next month when I go on holiday, and I have peace of mind that I'll be able to track my suitcase on every stage of its journeyI'm really pleased with how quick and easy it was to set up and pair with my phone, using the app, I'm able to track it with great accuracy. The tag is a different shape and slightly bigger than the old tags I have, but I feel its easier to find if you're looking for it, I've put mine in a case so I can attach it easier to the luggage straps in my caseHappy with its performance and can recommend it

Bought this as an upgrade from the original version. Good choice, great battery life and powerful. Picks up at a greater distance than the original. Easier to clip to items and full UWB. I will use this on holiday fro my case and the rest of the time for my car.

I’ve had it for a few weeks now, and I haven’t had to replace the battery yet, even with regular use. The battery seems to last a good while before it needs changing.Compact and Lightweight: It’s small and lightweight, so it’s easy to attach to almost anything. It’s not bulky like some other trackers I’ve seen, making it perfect for keys, bags, or even pets.Easy to Use: Pairing the SmartTag2 with my phone was super simple. The app is user-friendly, and I can easily see where my things are on a map. The proximity alerts are also helpful when I’m getting close to the item.Affordable Price: Considering the functionality and ease of use, the price is quite reasonable for what you’re getting. It’s definitely more affordable than some other high-end trackers on the market.Cons:Limited Range: The range on the SmartTag2 isn’t the best. While it works fine in most cases, if you’re in a large area, like a big house or outdoors, it can sometimes be harder to get an accurate location. It’s not a huge issue but something to keep in mind if you need longer-range tracking.No Built-in GPS: Unlike some higher-end trackers, the SmartTag2 relies on Bluetooth, meaning it doesn’t have a built-in GPS for tracking. This means it’s really useful when you're nearby but doesn’t help as much if you lose your items somewhere far away.No Speaker for Sound Alerts: I would’ve liked to see a built-in speaker for sound alerts. It does have a vibration feature, but it would’ve been nice to be able to make the tag beep or sound off when looking for it in a cluttered area.Overall: The Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 is a great little tracker that does exactly what it promises. It’s affordable, reliable, and easy to use, but it’s not perfect. Limited range and the lack of a GPS or sound alerts hold it back from being a perfect tracking solution. Still, it’s a solid option for those looking to keep track of smaller items like keys or bags.

Perfect if you want something quick with no subscription and simply to use ,it's not a full blown trader but does a job

Great price, great product. I do a lot of travelling and these provide great peace of mind that my baggage is nearby. I have also attached one to my car keys as the audible alarm is a fantastic asset.

Purchased to track suitcases on holiday. Worked as they should.....sometimes a 10-15 minute delay to exact location, but give them time to sync to the app and they fo eventually give location.
