Jata Ex606 Stainless Steel Citrus Juicer with Handle

I wish I loved this juicer/squeezer more. It's powerful and easy to use with some nifty design features that I was looking out for when the time came to replace my old one. Things like the tilting spout and non slip feet are essential if you're a regular juicer.But it is badly let down by a surprising omission considering it's so carefully thought out in other areas. Juicers can get messy so cleaning after every use is naturally the best way to stay on top of things. And as any regular user knows, a juicer that's easy to disassemble, clean, dry and put back together again is important.What's missing with this one is the ability to remove the black arm/lever and the press cup that's attached to it in order to clean it. It doesn't get too messy after each use but eventually it starts to look dirty and gets sticky needing a good clean. Every time I use it and then clean it I'm reminded about what a poor oversight not having a cup that detaches is. It would have been so simple too!There is one more design omission you might want to consider if you're shopping around - and that's a detachable spout. The collector tray with the spout on this model is easy enough to clean under the tap but it and the spout, are all one piece. This makes it a little fiddly to clean the silicone pad that shuts off the liquid that comes out of the collector tray and it might also make it more prone to breaking. I suffer with arthritis and often drop things when I'm cleaning them - this one piece spout collector tray looks a little fragile. Certainly if you dropped it on the spout in the sink or on the floor it'd likely break. It's great that the spout tilts but if you've ever used a Philips juicer you'll know how easy and handy their detachable sprout is.If they ever updated the model and addressed these 2 issues I'm sure it'd be the best on the market for the price.If you find an alternative one that ticks all the boxes and this review has been helpful to you please let me know.

Excellent juicer - allows you to prepare a litre of juice in a few minutes. However was fitted with an entirely illegal two pin continental plug

Very pleased with this purchase. Exactly as described and definitely encourages drinking more fresh juices due to how easy it is to use.

I love it. I use it every now and then and it does the job perfectly. No need to spend lots of money somewhere else.
