Cat loves em but $6 each!
They fit in standard container & our cat uses them multiple times a day w/or w/out catnip. Cheaper than her scratching the furniture, but only by a little, $6 per! The markup on these has to be like a billion percent. It's corrugated cardboard. Cheapest price I could find anywhere. Think I should get into this biz & make some $.

they work
These aren't perfect, but its difficult to find refills for the cat scratcher that fit perfectly. They all have to be cut down a bit. I guess the idea is that the manufacturers really want you to forget refills and buy a new one every time. Lots of spendable cash, they have. The cats like this one, so I make the refills work. they wear them out pretty regularly, so the 3-pack is a good buy, to avoid constant reorders. I'll buy them again.

Saving my sofas!
I have 3 large male cats that love tearing up sofas. They will walk right by the five million dollar cat trees and scratching posts and have fun with the back and sides of my sofas. Got a bunch of these, not thinking they would stop that behavior, but after tossing some catnip on here, they are all cracked-out on these. They love them and use them all the time. Since tossing these in the floor within a few feet of the sofa, they go after these. They work best when you put them all together to make a larger single pad. They also work best if they are in the path to the place you don't want them to scratch. Cats don't tear up your stuff out of spite, they do it out of opportunity and for me, and them, these are an easier target.

These are singles- I measure 4 3/8" wide.
I bought these thinking they were doubles- my fault...The singles are less than half the size of "double sized", so I took a serated knife and cut an old double at the fourth open cell all the way down, leaving three full cells. Then I stuck a thin nail into the side (Where the cats can't touch it) to hold it together. It works, but I would prefer singles. However, this way I do get more life out of the scratchy-pads, because I can flip the individual singles around to give the cats unscratched areas. You can't do that with a one-piece scratchy pad.

cats love it
Amazon should not insist that customers write reviews of products that are essentially commodities - pretty much like the same product from a dozen other suppliers.

Some cats like to reach for a vertical sisal rope type scratcher/tree ...
I have an incline frame that these re-fills fit into but you could lay it flat on the floor and it would work too. My "Annie" loves them, so I buy them. Whatever she wants! Anything to save the couches and rugs. There is no need to declaw if you provide their preferred place to go-to-town scratching. Some cats like to reach for a vertical sisal rope type scratcher/tree post, but if your cat likes to stand on all 4's and tear it up, these are a great value and option. Mine sure does!

Too Slim, but good quality
I didn't realize these would be so slim. My cat wouldn't even use them, so I glued a couple together and now he is happy. They are good quality, but if your cat is large and picky like mine, I would go for something wider.

Just a little small
Works good for my boys, it is an inch short on most of their toys and would fit better if it was 2 layers wider. I have to put a piece of cardboard along the side so they can't pull it out so easy. I would happily pay $4 a pair as is but it's a little expensive for the poor fit
