Very useful for holding open tightly-bound music
Having recently bought several volumes of popular music to play on my keyboard I found the bindings so tight that it was almost impossible to hold the pages open. This product has solved the problem! Even if the piece of music I wish to play runs over two or three pages I've found it possible to attach the clip so as to secure the first and last pages so that I can still easily turn the ones I want to play.

Absolutely brilliant!! Such a clever
Absolutely brilliant!! Such a clever, simple design and if I use it with my 'techbed' (see, last photo). My flip kilo holds the pages open, while my 'techbed' holds my book!

Useful little item, but it is a little expensive. 4/5
This is a great little item which helps keep books (e.g., textbooks, notebooks) open. It does what it's supposed to and hasn't had any problem with some of the heftier textbooks which i've used it to keep open. The only disadvantage of this product is that it's just a little too expensive. At £10, I would have probably expected something heavy duty. Unfortunately, this is an item imported from America, so it's a little difficult to find it for less.Would recommend to anyone that is tired of throwing items onto their books in order to keep them open on certain pages. Even though it's expensive, it'll save your blood pressure a little.

Seriously nifty!
When I received this, I was really quite skeptical about whether it would cope with a book. However I was extremely impressed - the springs hold very well indeed, but it's still easy to turn pages - so much so that I immediately ordered a second one.

Not a clever item
This item didn't seemake to fit many books and then didn't keep them open. I have thrown it out

Not great.
Definitely not for use with paperbacks, just slips off. For hardback books works quite well. Definitely would not buy another one at that price. £4.99 would be more reflective for this product.

This is so helpful when doing coursework, it keeps the big books open and means you dont loose the page you were on.

Probably not for thick volumes
I have a book-stand for copy-typing and yet needed something additional to keep open the pages of hardback books whilst I type up my research. This product might be of use when using slim volumes but I'm afraid it makes very little difference when it comes to books which have a lot of pages.
