Wood product instead of plastic poly vinyl etc We didn’t want more plastic in the house especially in windows exposed to sunlight all day. The measurements you send to company are easy to do and they double check by using pics you send of each window opening. Knowledgeable about their products is an understatement They make them to specs themselves- not some other company getting involved. When contacted with some questions they were extremely helpful. Note since they are custom made you will wait a bit for delivery. Speaking of which - no shipping damage due to the great packaging/crating of the shutters. The install was easy and a great fit to the openings. They look great inside and outside and add a nicer custom look we were looking for at considerably less cost than we thought possible. We ordered the split version where you can open the upper area separately from lower shutters adding to the versatility and functionality in our house. The overall quality is excellent especially considering the junk pedaled out there these days.
