Considering what I paid for the knife, I am quite satisfied. This is my second knife since the first one is in the storage unit. The previous knife was sturdy and handled the dishwasher with ease. The knife will likely outlive me!When using a bread knife for homemade bread, it is important that the blade be sharp. Otherwise you tear the bread instead of cutting it. This knife cuts very well. I have used it with bamboo and plastic knife guides as well as freehand. Some knives tend to pull to one side or the other, resulting in uneven slices. This knife cuts straight.Considerable praise for a cheap knife, but it is certainly deserved...

This is the best bread knife I ever had! Great cutting control thanks to the big, solid handle. It's also very sharp, cuts anything, not just bread.

This is a terrific knife. I got one with a white handle because it looks good on my dining room table with a loaf of bread. It's quite sharp and I expect to use it for many years to come.

Feels well weighted, not too heavy.The steel is 2mm thick. The teeth aren't over bitey-grippy like some cheap bread knives.The handle is comfortable, ergonomic. has grip-like texture as in some name-brand kitchen knives.Cheap bread knife for the house or restaurant, this will do.Would buy again.

I wanted a decent bread knife, this works very well. Wish it was just a tad longer, but I didn’t want the ones that are extra long.
