I bought this book because I had a vague fantasy about starting a Parent and Child Group, but didn't really feel like it was something I could do.WOW - after reading it I am totally excited by the reality that I can do it - and I will! I was really inspired by the case studies showing how many different groups do things their way, and how many of them started. I realised they were all just like me at one point. Now even fully-formed schools have emerged from humble beginnings.Thanks to Dot, perhaps another school will now grow in my rural community, and many other children who might not have ever come into contact with Steiner education will now have an opportunity for a very wonderful form of education. If you've ever even considered setting up a group yourself, even vaguely, then read this book, and see how easy it can be to transform your own community.
