I wasn't sure which EMF meter brand would be better for me. So I decided to go over youtube and do a quick review. I ended up to select this rather than variety of digital EMF meters, and I am quite satisfied with my choice now. It is precise, simple and solid product. Unlike the digital ones I feel I cant trust the readings . Absolutely recommended. Not only this. My son broke it after 2 days! It fell down the table and the glass was broken. I called the customer care of the product's company and they told me they are gonna send a new one right a way even before sending the broken one to them. They just trust me to send them back the broken one.

Received this Trifield Electromagnetic Field meter 100XE on January 5th 2016 I tested it and it worked fine very sensitive, accurate and easy to use, just hold it flat in hand set the switch to the position of what you want to check then move around your home to see where there’s high electromagnetic fields, this is the only way you can know if your house is safe. If you’ve very high EMF radiation there’re suppressors you can buy to reduce the EMF radiation and make your house safe. I found it to be a very useful tool to have around the home if you care about your health and EMF radiation. The seller was fast with shipping and I have no hesitation in recommending this seller to any customer who may want to purchase this item.

A good meter for magnetic field testing, but use another RF meter for radio/microwaves detection. When pointed at a cell tower and wifi, no readings recorded. When I turned my gadget out of airplane mode, the needle flickered a little and returned to zero. I later got a Cornet meter which gave me troubling RF readings, showing RF waves coming from a neighbor upstairs(probably their wifi or cordless phone..) , and I have been sitting on my workstation directly under! If you use the trifield meter to test RF, you may end up with the conclusion that you have no RF in your test areas.However, this trifield is excellent for testing magnetic fields from electrical appliances and wall wiring. With its sensitive needle, it beats staring at digital numbers that keep changing. The price is right. With it, I realized my subwoofer has been causing me a little nausea upon prolonged proximity to it. Helped me to pick a 'safe' spot for my dog to sleep. It has a cool retro look, solid build, just remember it is not sensitive enough for RF.

The meter is well made and quite sensitive. I find that the analog needle gives more information than a digital readout. Using it to trace EMF throughout the house was a real eye-opener. And yes, the microwave oven does leak but it appears to be within specification.Good instrument!
