It’s actually much smaller than I expected but I gave it 5 stars because I should have read the description better and it actually works really great! Only holds about 4-5 cups of coffee but it is a good quality carafe

Does not keep water hot enough for tea, even for an hour. The outside of the carafe gets warm. So, I suspect the heat is going into the plastic instead of keeping the contents hot.

This was bought to keep milk cool ( a thermos in reverse) in the study fridge. More preferable than the bottle and easier to pour from when making tea first thing.

I have just bought my third jug - previous two having lasted for years. I use daily as a water jug to take to my bedroom every evening. The water stays cool all night. First introduced to this type of insulated jug whilst staying in hotels in the U.S.

Oh dear this is much smaller than it looks on the picture so silly me should have checked the volume. Also not as good quality as I expected. Best to buy this type of item from a shop rather than online perhaps.

Lid is hard to get off. Doesn't retain heat.
