ZoomSwitch Standard Handset/Headset Switch (ZMS20-UC)

Works perfectly using Plantronics headset C052, which cannot be connected directly via USB. This allows me to seamlessly switch between Skype For Business calls and traditional phone calls. Also, my employer is in the process of removing desk phones in favor of Skype For Business. Once that occurs, while i will no longer need the switch function, this will allow me to continue to use my wireless headset with my computer. Both the mute button on the ZoomSwitch and the mute button on the headset work - much easier than clicking on the microphone image in a Skype meeting.

I had such high hopes for this device, but it does not work at all for me. Does not work with my Avaya 9611 telephone and headset (HIS-wired RJ-9 connector) on any combination of settings. When trying to get it to work with the phone, when the speaker works, the microphone doesn't and vice-versa. Microphone does not work with Avaya-compatible headset and computer at all. Color me profoundly disappointed.

The first Zoom Switch I received worked fine except that the mute switch made a loud click when activated, causing people to say "are you still there? It sounded like you hung up." I need to seamlessly jump in and out of conference calls, so this flaw makes the product useless to me. I returned it and received a replacement unit, which had the same problem. Very disappointing.One other design suggestion: The light which tells you whether you're muted is small and positioned at the back of the unit. You have to specifically look for it to see your status. This should be up front and much larger so that it can't be missed.

Easy to setup and simple to use. Worked great with a Cisco 7942 and PC connected to a Plantronics CS61 headset.

I've needed something like this for a long time. I LOVE my Plantronics 361N headset and have tried 6 or 7 other computer microphones for my computer, several very expensive ones. All the microphones are now happily in the spare parts box. This makes it easy to switch back and forth so I can use the phone, and in less than a blink, use the computer. I use Skype and the latest version of Dragon NaturallySpeaking (v.11). Calls are great on Skype and Dragon works very well with the microphone. My wife decided to use this setup for herself. She's non-techie and found the value of Skype calls. Set up took seconds. Hope this helps.

I am using this with a plantronics cs55 wireless headset. I was a bit puzzled at first, but to get any sound at all on the cs55 when using the usb computer side for sound, you must have the handset on the phone lifted, then drop the line on the phone. Other than that everything works fine and I am happy with the flexibility.

This product met all of my expectations. An inexpensive and easy way to use your wireless headset with both a land line and VOIP.
