Excellent read on this conflict
Despite being "Arab MiGs" this isn't some sort of hit job on the state of Israel, the author plays it pretty straight which makes this book a great resource on this phase of the Arabs Israeli wars. The book covers a wide range of stuff ranging from Arab SEAD operations using MiG-17s, issues with Soviet equipment, IDF long range strikes and aerial ambushes, inter-Arab conflicts during the period, and the general rebuilding of the Arab air forces after their drubbing. Really covers not only the war of attrition but also the building up of other Arab air forces which would play a role in future conflicts. The book has great images and drawings, and maps.

Stunning and very informative!
The book is excellent. Great photos. The detail and description was great. I lived in Egypt during the 1967 Arab & Israeli war and the war of attrition. It brings back memories. An excellent read.

Four Stars
Some accounts are very interesting--even if I don't necessarily believe them.

Migs in Arab-Israel Air War
This series is quintessential history of Arab Airforces and the Migs they flew. Massive research went into these volumes. Highly recommend...

Great Book, but what I got . . . .
A great book, to be sure, like the others, but what I got was a used book with sticky adhesive residue on the back cover, corners bent, etc. I thought I was buying a new book. Guess I got a used one. Never again.

which give an excellent overview of the relevant conflicts
I have several volumes of the Tom Cooper African/ Arab migs books, which give an excellent overview of the relevant conflicts. Unfortunately this volume isnt one of them.Hoping for a balanced recontruction of the War of Attrition, between the Arab states and Israel, this volume only highlights one side of the conflict. While still interesting to read their version, an overview with confirmed losses of both sides, would have given a better insight to the ( high ) claims made by Egyptian pilots. Now, the book seems more focussed on propaganda than being on overview of the War of Attrition.Otherwise, this book has some interesting chapters about the Egyptian expedition in Yemen and the Morrocan Air Force.
