This is a lovely book, plenty of information, not made anything yet but can't wait to get started

This was recommended by a friend and it is a lovely book. Very easy instruction to understand and lots of ideas for designs. A very good addition to my book collection and one I will use often.

has merit, but the mix of white trapunto and dark patterned fabric is awful. No subtlety, not attractive or artistic.The concept is good, but the finished product leaves a lot to be desired.The author needs a class on handling colour.

I have to admit, I forgot I bought this book. When I bought it I looked through it and put it aside, knowing I wasn't ready for Trapunto. On my search for free motion designs I found it again and looked through it again. Boy what a surprise! You don't have to do Trapunto to use the designs. They're perfectly suitable for free motion quilting! So I did and while quilting I thought I should give Trapunto a try too.The instructions in the book are very clear and easy to follow. With every design there are instructions of how to quilt and and what to do first. There are lots of pictures of finished Trapunto quilts, from first Trapunto quilts to very experienced ones.So if you want to learn trapunto or you're looking for beautiful FMQ designs, you should buy this book. I'm very happy I rediscovered this wonderful book.
