Handmade Competition throwing tomahawk from TRT 'Tomahawks. This is the design that I have made for the past 35 years. High carbon steel blade has a 4" cutting edge, which is the maximum for National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association competitions. Seventeen inch long hickory handle provides one revolution in approximately 12 feet. Our tomahawks are all handmade in our shop in New Holland, Illinois. The carbon steel blades are hand shaped and bronze welded to the handle eye. The hickory handles are hand turned and the sides flattened for added control when throwing. The tomahawk is very sharp and holds an edge well. Tomahawks are not toys. They are for throwing in a safe area by adults.
