**Q: replacing my 20 year old Blum hinges  on the inside where the new ones i see 110 mine reads 120.  other half reads1 5/8 what is the right replacement?**
A: The replacements I purchased on Amazon, twice, are stamped 110 with no other dimension noted.  My originals were also 20 years old, and the replacements fit perfectly.  My originals were stamped 110.  If your originals are stamped 120 (120 is the degrees the hinge will open), then you probably have a different type Blum hinge.  You may need 2 Blum 120 Degree Face Frame Clip On Hinge With Soft Close Adapters & Plates-Full overlay which is the only 120 I found. **Q: Is this a soft close hinge?**
A: I have ordered and installed. Buyers, Just to be clear : THIS IS NOT SOFT CLOSE HINGE

**Q: Where can I get the plastic inserts? Some of mine broke (20 years old.)**
A: You'll have replace the item listed on this page (Compct 33 Hinge) because the plastic part that breaks is the "Soft/self Closing" feature that this particular Hinge has. Its part of the hinge during manufacturing. There are other Blum Hinges just like this one that dont have the plastic "Self closing" aspect that are Blum 33 hinges, but this one on this page is self closing. Not: You do not have to replace the Mounting Plate that attaches to the door frame if that part isn't broke. You simply loosen the screw on this part enough to slide it on the Mount Plate that you left on the cabinet frame and tighten the screw once its in place. Install the 2 screws that hold this cup to the Cabinet Door and your all done.

**Q: I have the older style Blum 110 from about 25 years ago.  Can I remove the plastic inserts from these to repair my older ones?**
A: I was able to repair my older ones which were about 20 years old but I am not sure which ones you have! Sorry I can’t be of more help

My existing Blum 110 hinges are over 20 years old. The black clip had broken on several of the doors resulting in the door not fully closing and a clicking sound when they were opened or closed. These Blum 110 hinges are a perfect (exact) fit! They were easy to install and good quality. No screws needed as I used my existing screws. I replaced 5 hinges myself! Great value for the money. I’m sure these will last just as long as my original hinges. And now my doors close completely and without clicking.

I love these hinges - there is no hardware visible on my cabinets with the doors closed. It makes for a clean, unbroken expanse of white oak that I think looks fantastic.After 30 years, the original Blum hinges in the doors that are most-often used or carry the heaviest load (a large pantry door with can racks on it) have started to wear out. Some of the plastic breaks and the hinge makes a loud crack sound as the door closes and some of the doors don't stay closed or don't stay open. With 30 years of daily use, I can't complain and it's only the ones opened multiple times a day that have worn out. I bought these to replace them. They are easy to replace and, if done with care, you can replace them without even removing the door. I have over 70 Blum hinges in my house, and I will happily buy these to replace them as they wear out over time.IMPORTANT NOTE: These hinges don't include the mounting plate. They're just the 35mm embedded hinges that goes into the cabinet door. If you're not buying them as replacements, you will need the appropriate mounting plates for your application.
