This keyboard is exactly what I was looking for. Lightweight soft touch keys set into a metal frame, it has three levels of light behind the keys (plus an off position). If, like me you are a fairly fast touch typist, the keys need only the lightest of touches to work effectively and the added Mac functionality makes for a seamless integration into your workflow. Command, Option, volume and lighting keys are all the same. None of the loss of function that comes with trying to adapt a Windows keyboard to your Mac. On initial setup, the Mac asks you to press one key, then it configures this keyboard for you. If you have a Mac desktop of any kind, it's as perfect fit, and if you are a Macbook user thinking of buying a large monitor and using your plaptop in clamshell mode on your desktop, or an iPad user needing an external keyboard, it's exactly what you are looking for. Review: Good keyboard, great value - Compact keyboard which has 3 levels of backlight illumination. All white. Quiet type, really responsive, full width but no excess material outside of keys. Feels good to use. A couple of keys are placed irregularly but that is for me to get used to. Not a negative. Cord has usb c or usb a connection and good solid connection. Can be used for Mac or windows machine and highlights the purpose on the relevant keys. Really nice keyboard and at this price point I can’t fault it. Recommended

**Q: I have just received mine , but how do you turn on the backlight, i expected it to be automatic++**
A: There is a light button on the keyboard which can turn on / off, and adjust the brightness of the light easily (low / medium / high).

**Q: Is there a windows version available?**
A: Sorry, we do not have the Windows version for the same model. However, you can also use this keyboard for Windows system, except some special multimedia keys not working.

**Q: Is product compatible with mac os 10.12?**
A: Yes, the wired keyboard does work with "mac os 10.12".

**Q: Does it have Delete key? Cannot see it, so is there only a backspace key?**
A: Delete Backspace is above Return, Delete Forward is to the Right of Return, 3rd Button below F13.  Bottom left button of that cluster of 9 button. An X inside a Forward facing Box Arrow.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fine but doesn't last

Smart keyboard looks and feels more expensive than it is. However my "F" key has been temperamental for a few months now and is getting significantly worse to the point where I'm to have to buy another keyboard. So in reality the product hasn't lasted me a year as I purchased may 2024 and already will need to replace soon. Update: I have boosted my rating from 3 to 4 stars. Shortly after my review the company contacted me and offered a refund. I still need to source a new keyboard but can't fault the customer service.
