LITEBOX Photography Lighting Kit with Stands (Beginner Friendly) - Softbox Lights for Video Filming (No Strobe) - 5500K 95+ CRI

I was looking for lighting that was easy to set up and store away, ideally at a low price point. This Litebox kit was inexpensive enough for me to take a chance on it (I've never bought softboxes before) without being so cheap that I couldn't trust it. I'm currently using this kit for product photography but I wanted to get something that would work for other projects and offer me some flexibility. I also wanted to be able to pack the whole thing up and get it out of the way when I'm not using it. I wouldn't want to set up and take down the whole thing every day, because I am lazy, but I can do it in 5 minutes or less when needed.I watched an excellent video review from another buyer here that I would recommend other potential buyers watch to get a full overview of the kit.I did have some issues with a faulty lightbulb that burned out after a couple of weeks light use (so to speak). Litebox replied to my message through amazon right away and sent me a replacement in the mail without hesitation. When the replacement also turned out to be a dud I was sent another one, again, without hesitation. I was very reassured that the company stands behind their products and gives excellent customer service.

Prefect for what I need. I just got a camera and am learning how to use them. They are very durable and are easy to set up. I do have a problem keeping the umbrella from drooping sometimes from the heaft of the bulb. I dont really understand how the covers fit over the lights, as mine are kinda saggy, like I cant get the light opened all the way. You really have to press it open to get it fully opened. These are my first time using any lights and I think these are awesome.

They provide outstanding quantity and quality of light at an affordable price; definitely great value here. The internal reflective material helps to concentrate the light towards the diffusion layer to maximize the luminance, while the size (area) of the diffusion layer, plus the distance between the bulb and the latter, help to render soft shadows; not to mention the pleasing catchlight that is reflected in the subject's eye due to its octagon shape when shooting portraits.Please check the attached photography (actually, my first photography ever with this lighting kit), which was shot with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II camera and a Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM lens at the following exposure settings: ISO 160 f/8 1/30; the lights were set as a key/background lighting setup.If you're shopping for a lighting kit, I highly recommend this.

I've had this lighting kit for almost a year, and just recently one of the joints lost its traction. With a quick email to the shop, they got back to me to find out what part I needed, and have sent the replacement out to me. I love this kit, and now am a fan of their customer service. Was very happy to not have to buy a whole new set for such an easy fix. Thank you!

Had a great time setting these up. A little learning curve, but now that I know the tricks, it will be easier next time. The lights reflected nicely on my subject. Can't wait to take them out again.

I had return a lightbox because it was not bright enough. But this light is definitely bright enough. I am happy with these lightboxes.

Purchased these lights for a boudoir shoot and I was impressed! They’re not extra bright and didn’t add a ton of light (sorry I wish I knew a way to quantify that). But they were easy and very, very light (these are not sturdy stands) so easy to move around and put together

I really liked the setup but the lights were not powerful at all inside or outdoors. Very disappointed!
