Very useful for initial setup of gun as a cpsa shooting instructor I find it useful.

Doesn’t fit, you cannot close the gun.
Tried my luck as per other comments, COULDNT close the gun with it in the top barrel, so pretty useless, I reduced the both ends on a sanding disc and did get it to close.However you need this absolutely spot on and done on a cnc, otherwise if the face isn’t perfect it throws the laser out.If they can adjust this, it would be ok.Save your money and find a different solution.

Doesn’t allow gun to close
This item is not fit for purpose. The rim at the base is much thicker than a normal 12G cartridge so that it is impossible to fully close the gun Useless for improving gun mounting which is what I bought it for

Does not fit.
Did not fit my shotgun without modification.I had to shave a few mm worth of metal off to close the gun. I should have read the reviews first.Lazer works well, but is not perfectly true. Maybe this is due to filing it down to fit.I wouldn't trust it as a training aid.

Product not of merchantable quality
The item looks good, it slides into the barrel, BUT YOU CAN’T CLOSE THE GUN thereby making it completely useless in its as sold stateTo make the item usable you will need to spend a couple of hours carefully reducing the thickness of the screw in cap by just under 1mm using a needle file.Only reduce the thickness of the cap on the outside circumference were it sits in the ejectors of your gun.You need to be careful to ensure that you maintain the same thickness all round or the item will not sit correctly and not give an accurate centre.If you can be bothered and you get it right it a useful piece of kit that will help you to mount your gun correctly BUT UNTIL THE FAULT IS RECTIFIED BY THE MANUFACTURER THIS ITEM SHOULD NOT BE OFFERED FOR SALE OR THE SELLER TSKEN TO TASK UNDER THE SALE OF GOODS ACT.

Don’t purchase this product it can’t be used
Do not purchase this product. The head of the cartridge is too thick and stops my over under shotgun from closing. The sighter I purchased is completely useless.
