Love the size as it fits in my back pack

I ordered this mainly for freshwater canal fishing for perch and pike. I've paired it up with a Fox Rage Prism 2500 reel which works well with this rod. It fits well in the reel seat, and once tightened in, there's no looseness or wobble. It stays put.This is a 2-piece rod and the pieces fit together perfectly and securely. I love the urban camo print on the synthetic foam handle. It's very comfortable to hold but only time will tell how durable the foam material is. To my eye the guides look to be more or less in a straight line and the rod casts well.The rod comes with a very light thin nylon 2-compartment bag (one compartment for each rod piece). Good for transportation to and from the water and these things seem to last forever.Overall I'm very happy with the rod. It's good quality at an affordable price. Highly recommended.

Didn't expect much for the money, but feel I should have spent an extra £20 for a rod 10x the quality, can't see this lasting due to the tiny guides that will most certainly not be adequate for braid heavier than 30lb, also it was advertised as 10-40gram when it's actually 7-21gram, my son definitely won't be able to use this for pike fishing as intended, I actually wouldn't let him as it most certainly would not have the power to set a hook. This rod would more suitable for tiny spinners for perch fishing. I would not recommend buying this for someone new to lure fishing as would probably put them off. Lesson learnt I will be returning and replacing for a recognised brand.

Very nice light but strong

Fishing has been one of my favourite leisure pursuits since I was in my teens. I enjoy fresh and salt water fishing all year round and like lure fishing as I can keep on the move especially when it's a bit cooler. This Sougayilang 2-sections Spinning Rod is supplied with a two pocket cloth bag for storage. The rod has an EVA handle and integral reel seat which is suitable for both fixed spool and bait caster type reels. A reel needs to be purchased separately as this rod is not supplied with one.This rod is very lightweight with a medium action which in use performs well with lures of 7-21g in weight. The single leg guides/rings have alloy inserts and on the rod I received all of the whipping and overall finish are very neatly done. The rings have a good amount of stand off from the rod which I find helps prevent wet braid from binding to the rod during casting. I have been using this rod with a small bait casting reel and find the balance very good. The tip is sufficiently responsive for bite detection and the rod is designed for use with line up to 12lb breaking strain.Overall I think this is great little spinning rod which I have been using for pike and perch fishing and very much looking forward to trying it for Bass when the warmer weather returns. It is reasonably priced for a carbon composite rod and the quality seems very good, I cannot fault it. Therefore I am happy to provide this five star review and recommend.

Ich als Baitcastneuling fische die Rute mit einer Shimano SLX DC und bin nach drei Tagen Angeln mit meiner Entscheidung lieber bei der Rute als bei der Rolle zu sparen sehr zufrieden. Der Triggergriff liegt recht angenehm in der Hand und die Rute lädt sich beim Werfen gut genug auf, um auch Wobbler leicht unter 10g einigermaßen weit werfen zu können. Die Verarbeitung ist echt ordentlich, abgesehen von einem kleinen bisschen zu viel Kleber außen an einem Rutenring, was mich aber nicht weiter stört. Man spürt die Vibrationen des Köders bzw kriegt den Grundkontakt des Köders in der Hand gut mit. Die eher robuste Stärke der Rute macht sie in meinen Augen eher zum Hechtangeln mit leichteren bis mittleren Ködern geeignet als zum feinen Barschangeln. Hab von der selben Marke auch eine Fliegenrute, die auch sau billig war, aber seit 2 Jahren schon ihren Job macht, während in der Zwischenzeit manch eine teuer Markenrute von mir oder meinen Freunden den Geist aufgegeben hat.
