Made from lightweight 6061 aluminum and designed for quick DIY installation, it repositions the derailleur to maintain smooth shifting on smaller cogs while expanding gear range for steep climbs. Compatible only with standard derailleur hangers and medium-cage GS derailleurs, this USA-made component is a must-have upgrade for riders seeking versatility without compromise. ## Description The RoadLink derailleur hanger extension is a unique, patented device that offsets your road derailleur so you can run wide-range cassettes. It lets riders convert to a single front chainring without giving up range, and gives 2x riders lower gears for steep climbs. It preserves shifting in the smaller cogs while enabling use of cassettes up to 40T. Installation is quick—typically under five minutes. The RoadLink mounts only to a standard derailleur hanger. Important: RoadLink repositions the derailleur for clearance; it does not increase derailleur capacity. Confirm your rear derailleur’s rated capacity before expanding range. It is optimized for 10- and 11-speed 11–36T and 11–40T cassettes and for Shimano road geometry; it also works very well with 9-speed road derailleurs. Not supported: 11–42, triple chainrings, or direct-mount frames. Doubles are only supported with GS (medium-cage) rear derailleurs and must remain within capacity. Specs: 6061 aluminum, 17 g. Stainless steel bolt included; torque 8–10 Nm. Color: Black. Made in USA. ## Features - The RoadLink mounts only to standard derailleur hangers. - The RoadLink is optimized for use with 10-Speed road derailleur geometry, it also works with 9-speed road derailleurs - Triple chainrings are not supported (medium cage rear derailleurs cannot accommodate that big of a range). - Easily installed in less than 5 minutes by any home mechanic. - US Patent D798197 , Made in the USA ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B013ZTTEJK | | Brand Name | Wolf Tooth | | Colour | Black | | Country Of Origin | USA | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars (984) 4.7 out of 5 stars | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00812719021869 | | Item Dimensions L X W X H | 24.1L x 12.7W x 2.5H Centimeters | | Item Highlight | Wolf Tooth RoadLink: Road Race Wide Range Derailleur Extender | | Item Weight | 0.04 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Wolf Tooth | | Manufacturer Part Number | RLINK | | Material Type | Aluminium | | Model Number | RLINK | | Mount Type | Clamp-On Mount | | Number Of Items | 1 | | Number Of Teeth | 40 | | Upc | 812719021869 | | Whats In The Box1 Whats In The Box3 | Camera Body | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Wolf Tooth - **Colour:** Black - **Item Weight:** 0.03 Kilograms - **Material:** Aluminium - **Mounting Type:** Clamp-On Mount ## Images ![Wolf Tooth Components RoadLink Shimano, 11-36/11-40t - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61-DbYNWwrL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Colour, Size** options. - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/566593284-wolf-tooth-components-roadlink-shimano-11-36-11-40t](https://www.desertcart.be/products/566593284-wolf-tooth-components-roadlink-shimano-11-36-11-40t) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
