The weight of 6" globe is approx 3 kg.

I’ve seen videos of it floating anywhere you place it is this true?

It doesn't float. It's a globe within another clear glass sphere so it gives the impression of floating. And it does need light to help propel the spin (its all sciency and to do with magnets - don't ask me to explain). It did take a couple of days before it started spinning for us but you just have to be patient.

Does a bubble develop inside the globe after some time?

No. There is no air bubble in it at all. It's very well made.

Do the clouds move or are they static on the globe?

The whole globe image rotates so yes, the clouds move, but no, they don’t move relative to the earth.
