Ever since I got this, the sun hoodie has instantly become my go-to for anything in the sun or where I might sweat. I have retired all of my button-up hiking shirts, which are much less comfortable, have less sun coverage, and are covered in unnecessary bits and pieces like breast pockets, collars, pleats, and buttons. The sun hoodie does everything better. The great thing about the hood is not just the coverage for your neck and ears, but the fact that it's thin enough to go under a hat to hold it in place.The Willit is quite a nice product for the price. The fabric is lightweight but still feels substantial, durable, and stretchy. It is very comfortable and has held up well through numerous adventures. I went ahead and picked the lightest possible color to reflect the sun: white. I really like the way it looks, and I went into it expecting it to get stains. Sure enough, it has picked up a few, but that doesn't bother me because it's a rough-and-tumble activity shirt and it gives it some character. It fits well overall, although it does run a bit small. I would recommend going up one size, since you want it a little loose for airflow. My t-shirt size is usually L but I ordered an XL, and I'd say that the sleeves are just barely long enough—using the thumb holes feels like it pulls too much and isn't comfortable. One feature I might wish for is a kangaroo pocket, but it's not necessary if you have pants pockets.Highly recommended, get a sun hoodie

I originally bought this for kayak fishing during the summer when the sun is super strong and there's no shade on the lake. I have found myself wearing this shirt anytime I have an outdoor activity, and just ordered a second one. After a year of fairly heavy use it has held up well. It's been great for things like backpacking and camping, days at the park, etc. I even brought this to Mexico when I stayed at a resort in Cancun where the sun is SUPER strong, and it was a lifesaver, especially with the hood. I walked around the resort all day with the hood on and a ball cap, swam in the ocean and the pool with it, and it wasn't too hot. I actually think it kept me cooler. Dries fairly quickly too which was nice since I was in and out of the water with it all day. And for the first time I managed to survive a week in the Carribean without terrible sunburns. I am 6' tall and about 220lbs, the XL was perfect. Just loose enough but not too loose, and the thumb holes were just long enough.

I have a rock climbing friend who had one of these and after a recent trip where it was hot and sunny and almost no humidity, i was wanting something like it. It is light weight, long sleeve, has a hood and loose to fit and I am big ~250lbs. I recently used these at a soccer game where I used the hood to keep the sun off my ears and head. I didn't burn at all which is fantastic and I was comfortable all day. I looked for others elsewhere, and they are many times the price of this and I don't know if you can say they provide a lot of benefit at least not that deserves the price. I bought 2 of these for less than the cheapest alternative I could find. If you burn easily and need something to wear when its hot, this is a great shirt.

I bought this in size MEDIUM, in the color CLOUD GRAY. This size men's medium fits me like a women's large. For reference, I am female, 5' 7" at 170lbs. The Cloud Gray has a slight pink hue to it. The material is lightweight and soft. The hood is really large so I threaded a hoodie string through it and now it's a hoodie that I can tie closed. I wear this to protect my arms from UV exposure, and also to keep mosquitos & gnats off me while camping. I don't get too hot in this shirt in normal temperatures (up to 80 degrees) but I think it will be somewhat hot on days over 80 degrees.

Bought several other brands at a cheaper price and while they do the job, none compare to the quality of these Wilit brand. Husband spends all day in the Sun working and also runs very hot so thick, bulky fabric or uncomfortable clothing is a no go. But these shirts he swears by, has worn one every day since I bought the first. He LOVES THESE SHIRTS so much I ordered 4 more! Navy & Orange.These UV protecting shirts keep him protected, covered, with hood as nice extra that he raves about. They’re easy to wash (although I hang dry), pretty good not holding stains except the odd tough one, and best of all he stays cool all day in long sleeves during the hot summer! He even wears them doing water sports and non-work activities because they’re so comfy. Wish I had known about them sooner, will absolutely buy more when on sale! He’s 6’ 190lb size 36 waists and the Large fits perfect, XL too big. Will def be buying more on sale!

Comfortable and fits right. I like it so much that I bought one for my wife and another for me. She loves it too.

The overall style, price, and functionality of these sunshirts is great. There are ton of colors to choose from; the fabric is soft, light, and comfortable; and the price is good compared to options from REI or Eddie Bower. My biggest complaint is with inconsistent sizing. I am 5ft8in and 135lbs. I own one men's medium and it fits well though the sleeves are a tad too short. I tried to order another one in the same size and it was way too big and a very boxy cut in the torso. My wife had also ordered some and one of her women's mediums fit her well, but another was way too big, but fit me perfectly. So difficult, even if you've already ordered one to get a size that fits. But if you can find one its great. Don't be afraid to try a diff size or women's version (for the record the women's medium that was too big for her, fits me perfectly)

Comfy, and keeps me protected from the sun. Keeps me cool while outdoors. Would buy again.

I have only worn this indoors at the gym for a couple weeks here in the winter. It is light and fits well. I am not sweating much at all but after washing it I can tell for sure it has “retained” a bit of a stale scent that is the same as a few gym shirts I just threw out due to that same smell.I guess that is expected with a hoodie I am wearing to the gym. Without sweating much at all using this for sun protection in the AZ summer and really sweating I’d guess it will really get a permanent smell.

Color was perfect, size was good. Arrived ahead of time.I will wear it when out in the sun, swimming, kayaking and hiking.

I like these they seem to be decent quality, no stitches popping yet, we will see. Slightly long but whatever for the drive. Maybe 1 size up.
