i have a 45% grade driveway that sucks in the winter. This does the job, but the chunks are larger than I'd like. Some are 1/2" bits of "salt" I'd like more small bits, but this'll do. i thinkg that this stuff was taken out of a freeway deicing truck. The bags are smaller than I thought they'd be too. I was expecting the size of a large dog food bag, but it was more in the line of a miniature. The box was pretty beat up when it arrived and I think that the UPS guy used his own tape to hold the thing together. My wife nearly had a hernia when it arrived. It works, but I'll order the ginormous bag of teenie weenie bits next time, as I use a seed spreader to hit my driveway and the steep road in front of my house. Whet the hell was I thinking buying this house?

This product did a great job of melting through snow and ice. It was very helpful at releasing my car from snow and ice prison.

This arrived in a bag that had been opened and taped up. Because it's only rock salt and still appeared to be a full bag, it's not a huge deal, but I'd prefer things I buy to be new, so probably won't order this again.
