This training collar is something I have wanted for years. The 2yr old St Bernard in the picture is one of the most well behaved dogs I have ever owned, but he still has his bad habits. He is already trained on the electric fence for our yard and minds the line perfectly, so I do not think shocking him will be necessary. He knows the warning beep and vibration well. This collar is helping train him to not bombard guests that come to our home, and I will be training him to walk leash-less and especially to not go toward other people/dogs walking. This will be perfect to give him a warning if he doesn't stay close to me or even a shock if he doesn't obey my call when he wonders too far. I was worried the collar wouldn't be big enough, but I have it fitted properly with 2 holes to spare so it will still fit as he continues to fill out. Hopefully by then we won't need to use it anymore.The collar is a thick, smooth rubbery material, very strong. I also like that I can change how intense the vibration or shock is. I like to start on the lowest setting and work up if that is ineffective. The charger is one cord that connects to both the remote and collar at the same time, and is s USB connection so I can charge in the car, that is a genius aspect. This seems like an all around great training collar.

Don't buy the one in the pet stores, they are way overpriced. I actually took my $140 one back after finding this. It works great and easy to use. I don't have it on my dog all the time but I do make sure I use when there are good training opportunities. The battery seems to last for several days. Really like the charging cord that was included. You can charge both collar and remote at the same time.

This is a good training collar. I like the light weight of the collar and shocker and once the dog learns the method, we only use the tone to remind her of the boundaries. In fact, as long as she has the collar on, very rarely do we have to use the tone. However, after six months of use, the rubber collar connection to the shocker tore. I am checking on the one year warranty to see if this is covered. Long term use may be a problem with the collar.

Good design. Terrible performance. It will be fully charged and in almost no time it stops working. You must press the yellow button to wake it back up, but after 10-15 minutes of no signals sent to it, it stops responding to the remote and you must reset it again.Update: Great customer service. Is not as water resistant as advertised. Charging cover does not stay closed. Would not recommend for dog that love water.

This was the only thing that has worked when training my Catahoula dog. They are a stubborn breed and it takes a strong owner to handle them this worked like a charm and I may have only used the shock like twice ever the beep and vibrate function are the most effective but it nice having the shock if I know it will stop her from getting hit by a car.

 I'm trying to train my puppy not to eat food from the floor. He froze when I vibrate it and does not eat whatever is on the floor, I haven't used the shock yet because he has been responding to vibrate and sound. He gets really confused when I do the sounds and forgets what he was to do. I really like it.

If it has not been for me ordering, WeioDirect, shock collar. Our puppy, Beagle, would not be turning 1 yr. old in May. My husband thought it was cruel and I know too many dog trainer's throughout my life, that has said best training tool for any breed dog. Thank you

When fully charged the collar turns off after about 10 mins. The only way to turn it back on is to push the button on the collar itself, so unless you are constantly pushing buttons to correct your dog it will turn off makeing it usless for consistant training.
