Thermaspike has spiked itself
This has lasted just 10 months. I've changed the battery a couple of times. The most recent change was today. And it won't work. Have tried two entirely different, new batteries (by brand). Neither works. That's about £6 worth of wasted new batteries as well. Most disappointing. Prior to this, II was pleased at the results although they seemed to be a bit on the 'raw side' quite often. That's OK. You simply adjust upwards in that situation. But there's nothing much you can do when a Thermaspike suddenly dies. It has been nowhere near water or any other liquid other than than in pieces of meat. Come easy, go easy?

Pretty crap. Better for less.
Doesn’t like induction cookers . Went all mental when making Italian meringue. Battery cover fell out in the soup. Customer not best pleased.
