I was looking over some options to repair some minor holes in my couch (thanks to my 7 year old) and some routine clothes needs. I’m an overwhelmed single mom so I don’t write too many reviews, but I had to stop everything a sec to write this. This kit is fantastic! It’s compact, so great for apartment life, but extremely thorough. Has THE most helpful tools for basic fixes, PLUS a wide array of beautiful thread colors. Def recommend for any home, yet also compact enuf for long trips!

This is a very good sewing kit, it has everything I need. I would’ve given it five stars but for the fact the sewing pins are so dull they won’t even push through the little pin cushion.

I bought this as an impulse item and I don't regret it for a second. This is a super useful and compact sewing kit. The variety of colors of thread have come in handy several times for simple clothing repairs. The case looks like a simple black tablet case or book cover, so I just keep it on a bookshelf with other books. I liked it so much, I bought another one for my mother-in-law who lives in a camper six months out of the year. She loves hers, too!

So, I purchased this sewing kit just because I had one button to sew back on and needed an odd color thread, which this kit appeared to contain. What I didn't even realize at the time was just how many bits of odd colored thread this kit contains, along with everything you could possibly need for quick at home repairs etc. This kit is so great for the money!! Can't believe how many times I have had to use this kit and how perfect it was for so many different types of quick clothing fixes. I have repaired a ripped seam on hot pink pants and Cobalt blue pants. Sewed a button onto a set of mustard colored trousers and also a button onto lime green blouse. It is a perfect lil all in one travel and closet kit.

I got tired of getting through life with only a few spools of thread and a crappy dollar store sewing kit. I'm big on efficiency and having the right tool for the right occasion to make my life easier. I often buy clothes on the cheap, from thrift shops, and you can bet that a button is coming off here or a thread is coming lose there. Every person, man or woman, should have sewing kit on hand and know how to sew a simple stitch. It will save you so much money in the long run when repairing your own clothes. Amazon actually alerted me that this item was on sale, even though I had it in my wish list for more than a year, and when the price dropped, I had no excuse not to buy it. Easily extends the life of my clothes.

This is a very good kit,I bought this item for my cub pack to teach them how to sew, and it has been perfect. Contains everything you'd ever need. It would easily fit in a suitcase and not take up much room.

I got this to do mending on socks ir buttons small stuff, I haven’t used it yet but it look like a nice little kit.
