Me and my parents use these for our assorted kitchen appliances that sit on the counter, but are only used at most a few minutes a day (aka coffee maker). I also have this on the air fryer, toaster, etc. I really like the fact that I can leave the appliance plugged in, but turn on/off as needed and not having the appliance be a vampire and sucking electric when not needed. Have been using for a few years now and did have one that died after about a year (the reason for 4 stars), but overall they're worth the money, IMO. These are not surge protectors, but if that could be an option, that would be outstanding in helping protect the smaller appliances.

Love these for my holiday lights. I don’t have to constantly plug-in and unplug. I can just flip the switch.

Sturdy and seems to be very good quality. You get 3 switches which are shipped plugged into each other, so you'll have to pull them apart. What's nice is that theswitch is on the side, so if you plug both switches into a 2-outlet receptacle, you can easily turn either switch on and off. I like that the switch lights up when it's in the ON position; good when you're controlling something that's far away (such as Christmas lights) or something where it'snot obvious whether the appliance is on or off.

I have one these attached to many small appliances in my home (toaster, kettle, etc). They're excellent. 2 easily fit on one outlet.

I purchased this product less than one year ago and unfortunately as some reviewers have pointed out they can be defective and become a fire hazard. I like the design but one of them just recently started burning just like in some pictures I have seen on some reviews. It was not overloaded by any means ( a small table top fan) and my friend noticed the melted and burnt out section on the hot side of thd slots. I wish I knew how to send a picture of this because I want people to be cautious of purchasing this product. Two are still working but I am concerned that this product may be a fire hazard and am debating whether to discard them. Perhaps thd company should be aware of this problem so that they can address the issue with it.
